At least it’s not as bad as Aliens: Colonial Marines.
Despite all of this though, I pretty much agree with Jim’s assessment of the situation; Hello Games did promise a lot of stuff that they never delivered on (resulting in a product that many can agree is pretty sub-par), but it was more of a case of over-zealousness of the devs, rather than any “malicious intent” or anything like that. I do hope that they improve on the game more in the future, but with just how much backlash the game got I doubt people will be willing to do business with Hello Games again, if they attempt another ambitious project like this.
Almost. Planet and Galaxy/Solar System names are still retained at the very least (unless those will eventually get erased as well, just after a longer period of time).
Jesus christ… I mean at some point, you just have to say “Really?” This guy has some fucking balls, man. Nobody is ever going to trust his games again. Whats funny, is I remember reading his sob story like “I was busting ass at Corporate EA and quit so I could make my own games and stick it to the man!” But hes coming off more villainous than EA at this point.
Gamestop still trying to move these off the shelves. Should be criminal tbh.
I remember once I asked the guys there was there a place I could buy japanese PSN cards so I didnt have to order off playasia and I was told I cant play asia games on an us PS3.
Are there really children out there trying to get refunds for this game after putting HOURS into it? I’m talking 10s of hours. Even 5+ is pushing it.
These communities are a joke. Nothing but cheap bums that don’t want to work for anything in their lives.
I think the community should be entitled, but never to the point where one can not only commit to a purchase, but also use the product for a considerable amount of time and get their money back at the end of the day.
