My biggest complaint so far is the latter half bosses don’t have anywhere near enough health. I killed Mitsunari almost on accident on my second try. I was doing horribly and committed myself to just learning how he moves when he just died suddenly the next time I attacked lol
Seems like twilight missions don’t add enough either. In this sense the game really could use a NG+. Does the other difficulty mode increase boss health?
If you’re in mid game around Kinki Region and need to Farm here’s something I cooked up:
So I kept getting rekt on Umi-Bozu. I switched to a decent Mace, high stance of course, and I beat that bastard in my first try after the switch. I took him to 30% health off of one torch enchant that you get from the boss room, shit was ridiculous. With a sword in high-stance I’d have to use two torches in the boss room and even then I might not even get him to 30%, the Mace was doing literally like 3-4X the damage that I was doing with my sword.
I haven’t stopped using the sword yet, especially against normal enemies but goddamn axe in high stance is retarded. To quote ExposedD:
I just use spear and get best of both worlds. High stance (when I use it) is a good medium between axe and sword damage, with good reach.

Run past it and just dash for the boss.
The damage doesn’t compare dude. I’m not saying the spear isn’t incredibly good, but to call it a “good medium” really doesn’t show how much more powerful the axe is lol
Also this Nobunaga & Yuki-Onna boss is making me rage really fucking hard right now.
Just beat it on my first real try. Shit was actually easy.

This thing just KNOWS when I want to buff or heal… As soon as I go for it, this happens:
Best timing is on the first phase whenever he switches spots you can heal or buff
Honestly the first phase isn’t that hard once you know how to perfect your timing on it’s attacks
2nd Phase max out your distance asap.
Some other techs you can go for is on the first phase you can use that mask thingy that spits flames
2nd phase you can use the BROKEN ASS SLOTH TALISMAN LOL
So far my hardest boss may have to be Hino-Emma…omg that bitch was fucking my asshole up lol.
You don’t get Sloth Talisman till AFTER Umi-Bozu.
