I was at Best Buy this weekend, and they sell the WiFi connector there. That’s new to me, I thought it was only available online. Check it out if you’re still looking for one.

How does the win/loss record work on wifi? Do you get a win if everyone disconnects on you? Do they get a loss for disconnecting? What does 2nd and 3rd place gets on their record, wins or loss? I wanna know b/c I won about 10 matches yesterday, but everyone disconnected on me before the awards were handed out! >=(

1st place = +3 wins
2nd place = +2 wins & 1 loss
3rd place = +1 win & 2 losses
4th place = +3 losses

a disconnect during a race = a win for you and the others still in the game while the dc’er get’s up to 3 losses.
a disconnect during character select = nothing (bastards…)
a disconnect due to wifi issues or game lag turns into game crash = nothing (thank god)

better way to put it is 1 win for everyone you finish before, 1 loss for everyone that finishes before you.

no wonder I have a bunch of losses, I dc’ed about 3 times so i can play my friend.

i don’t believe the that if a person disconnects, you get a win. unless they changed it somehow.
