Okay, so I’ve added some Animal Crossing codes to the first page… I think it’d be good to have this thread as a sort of “database” for friend codes. I propose that the Animal Crossing thread be kept alive, and Animal Crossers can discuss the game… I’ll check once in a while over there to update friend codes… It might be good to have a thread to discuss individual games, then have this thread for matchmaking/wifi discussion. Or we can just use this thread, its up to you guys (and the mods).
Also, Sep, if you could edit the title of the thread per FurryCurry’s advice and take out the Mario Kart in the title, I’d appreciate it.

How about I make A Thread for specific listing of friend codes and Tourneys. That way we can have the individual DS game threads but when we have major events or tourneys with our DS wifi games we can post them there. Plus we could put all the Friend codes on that page. And then Finally sticky it on this section of the Forums.What do you all think?

There’s no official MKDS thread other than the one I made, I searched already, this thread is about wifi discussion that’s why we need another one because I for one prefer the discussion to stay on topic and on ONE TOPIC alone. It makes things more organized.

When Tony drops down in price I’m picking it up. A lot of people who’ve picked up are really enjoying it, especially after being burnt out by the series once Underground hit.

Mario Kart DS: SRK Cup chat room for talk right before (like choosing tracks) and during a tourny and then go to SRK and post final results and thoughts about the tourny after it’s all over. If we end up having a lot of tournys I suggest we start a minimalistic web page which will serve as a scoreboard.

Tracks will be debated on before a match starts.

*Matches will consist of four SRKers. So only four of us go on at once for a Friend Code race. Then we sign off and come back to the chat and post the results. Then the next group of SRKers do the same.

Make sure you have a 2 bar or better connection before hand.

No dropping allowed or you will become ineligible for the next tourny. But if you lose your connection or are dropped from the race IMMEDIATELY tell everyone in the chat that this has happened to you. On the same token though you will not be able to reenter the current tourny unless there is a slot open . So if you got dropped in the final round then consider yourself screwed. However, SRK is allowed to vote on such matters if the need arises. Case by case basis perhaps.

The top two racers from a match move on to the next round and so on and so forth. I figured this would be a good way to give those in 2nd place, well, a second chance (no pun intended) at winning. I know I’ve had VERY close races before.
So for example.
Round 1:
Joe, Smoe, Floe, Doe race
Joe: 36
Floe: 34
Smoe:24
Doe:16
Joe and Floe move on to the next round:
Round 2:
(from a previous match up)Dick, Rick, Joe, Floe race
Rick: 40
Joe: 32
Floe: 22
Dick: 18
Rick and Joe move on to the Final Round
Final Round:

Person3 and Person6 would be allowed to compete again while fixing the problem of a lack of entrants. If there is a tie amongst our top ranked losers then we’ll have them race to see who will fill in the gaps.
*I’ve never done a FC race before so do you just pick and choose from your list (depending on who is on at the time) who you want to race or not?
UPDATE==>: After this tournament and before Christmas we should have a real tournament. And Christmas night we should have another serious tournament but with a prize pack of SRK Premium for a year.

Did you even read my first post in the thread? Or the title? Its supposed to be for all wifi discussion, I said I would put other friend codes in as they came along, but no one had any for TH. A mod changed the title to “with Mario Kart Friend Codes”. The only person that has a problem with this being the thread for Friend Codes seems to be you.

Yeah it is… We just need to get rid of the “Offical Mario Kart DS” thread started by Xpac (no offense homie but this should be our new Mario Kart home).
Use the new Offical Nintendo WiFi thread as the home base for all Nintendo WiFi activities.
And as far as rules… well hell, read them and list your grieviences and I’m sure we could work something out.

I intended for it to be the wifi/friend code thread, but since there was only one game that people were playing, it became a wifi/friend code/mario kart thread. Sorry if it came off as rude, but I was offended by you stating that I intended this to be a MKDS thread.
