So I’m thinking of getting a 3DS but I’m not sure what I want to buy.
All the good stuff doesn’t come out till the summer or end of the year. :\
Maybe I should just wait.
The only game I really want is Kid Icarus anyways.
Another order should be coming in soon. You can actually tell them to reserve it for you. Don’t make me have to tell you the sku and how to get them to do it because if it comes down to that I will lol.
Eh I don’t see it as a crutch really since the way the controls are were pretty similiar to MP: Hunters and even though that had it’s disenters and cramps (including me) I wouldn’t have wanted to play the game any other way after playing with it for awhile. I don’t even use my stand really…I just prop the 3DS up on my knee when I’m sitting down and I’m pretty much good to go. Of course though everybody’s comfort level with things will be different.
The guy over the counter said that so many people wanted to pre-order the CPP that they’re not taking anymore pre-orders for a long while.
EDIT: …Not even the official Nintendo site is taking any orders. I feel like it’s gonna be months before I can play Kid Icarus. ;__;
jesus…I know demand for the thing is out there but lol. You don’t have another GS around the corner or up a couple miles down the road? You barely can go 5 miles around this city without probably being near a GS. And you’re right handed?

Edit: Wow! never mind just checked. I really didn’t care for it at first. I just decided to buy it the day that Resident Evil Revelation came out because the guy at gamestop was telling me it would work great with the game. Glad I picked one up

Also, the guy checked, and the nearest GS with a CPP is in Missouri. I’m in Austin, Texas lol.

But either way, the only way we get a redesign is if more Japanese game companies like Capcom demand one. Hell, if there is a redesign, they will probably make sure it arrives around the same time as MH4.
If the 3DS had the CPP built in with the resolution and capacitive touch of the iPhone 4 it could literally be the greatest handheld of all time. Ohhh the control possibilities are endless!
I don’t have any doubt that there will be a redesign. It’s pretty much inevitable. I’d be more surprised if they didn’t do one but hey…this is Nintendo we’re talking about here…they might just decide to throw a curveball.
Left-handed is what I meant I goofed. And what I meant was going to a dif GS and seeing if they’re able to take your preorder. As far as I know we haven’t stopped taking preorders as a company but maybe there was an email that occured while I wasn’t at work.
Jeff Gerstmann on the latest Giant Bombcast said the writing is the best part of the game and that it would be better on wii or wiiu, (and having heard some of the dialogue I believe it) it’s just interesting that a major ninty game is getting recognition for it’s writing lol. That’s like Bungie’s next game being praised for realism.
Well, I would go to other GameSpots if I had the time. Simply put, I’m a busy college student and the bus system that allows me to travel across this dense city is very slow. I don’t want to waste time on a wild goose chase. =/

^It’s honestly been a slow go. That’s been around for over a year now. I’m not knocking the effort but it’s telling that they can’t get 100,000 people in that span of time.
