I’ll feel so betrayed if I don’t get one…
Holy shit that 3rd monster/flagship monster in the mh4 demo is some shit man.
damn i just checked and i dont have one.
if anyone gets a code and doesnt want it please send it my way?
Unfortunately i used up mines for friends …But yeah you get 3 extra codes not including your own. So if anyone gotten theirs, link any spares i suppose for dudes interested in monster hunter 4 online demo.
Basically you start off with preset gear for each weapon class and there’s 3 bosses you can play against either solo or in a online lobby with 3 other players. Can host a lobby or find a random one. First boss is the general starter boss for those warming up to the game; a tutorial boss at best, 2nd I suppose is a more fleshed out but not hard at all boss. 3rd is the fucking flagship boss and he aint holding back shit.
So yeah, find what weapons suit your playstyle for those that haven’t gotten into the game.
That means you Po. THERE’S NO CATS. Just you and 3 other players. Can say fuck capcom after properly trying out what the game has to offer; as in try out much of the weapon’s movesets and can use the 3rd boss as a glimpse of what the bosses in this game are like. They’re all unique but alot of them are generally well fleshed out like the 3rd boss.
You’re not supporting capcom by trying out a demo and gives you more reason to otherwise not buy the game if you already tried it. Hell if you end up liking the game you can still turn around and say “fuck capcom, cool game but won’t support them” and that’ll be fine. Better to atleast poke at the game.
TL;DR
SOMEONE GET PO A CODE SO THAT HE CAN WRITE HIS FUCK CAPCOM REVIEW OF THE GAME
Check your PMs.
Anyone else have a code? Didn’t realize you had to be Club Nintendo to get one. Only email I got was hyping up the mm & mh n3DS.
I ain’t got no email. Idk if they are sending them to everyone or just randoms. Hopefully I get one. I’ve only played MH Freedom Unite, and some of the Wii U one. and i like the series. But i just gotta re-get into it again
I want my damn code
I’ll just hold out until the n3DS drops. I refuse to play MH without a c-stick.
I wanna cop the MH New 3ds, im trying to see if the game included is digital. My friend said that when pre-ordering those bundles, you can pick if you want your copy digital or physical. Because he said that’s what happened he pre-ordered his Link to between worlds 3ds.
If anyone has a Monster Hunter code I’d like to have one please. If anyone has one please private message me.
Shovel Knight is flippin’ excellent and fits the 3DS perfectly. Just saying. It’s just the right side of challenging-but-fair.
Yeah as surprisingly decent as the pseudo lock on button + touch pad “D-pad” for camera is, C-Stick is more natural for me. For those not willing to get a n3DS and don’t have the 2nd analog attachment but are still interested in the game, the psuedo lock on option is completely viable.
Just the whole gaming experience will be different because you’ll be constantly jerking the camera abit towards the boss with the psuedo lock on instead of a slower but smooth turn.
As for me, honestly each options has the pros and cons that balance each other out. Pseudo lock on can be better against some magneto tri dash bullshit that goes on your blind side in a instant and you absolutely need to turn towards the boss fast before he acts… you still have the option for touch screen camera as well but its sorta the equivalent as using the right side of the PS4 touch pad as a camera as far as comfortability; completely doable and the touch screen D-pad is generously big, but of course a analog would be more comfortable.
So 1 has more utility and less comfort and the other is more comfortable and natural.
Said with new MH I was gonna try out the bow, after playing the demo on the 2DS for an hour, n3DS can’t come fast enough.
Oh yeah shit thats one thing.
Ranged weapons are much more awkward without a analog for quick aiming. Though much of Bow’s offense are generally “attack as soon as you get the charge for whatever situation demands as much as possible”; aka you don’t really have to take too much time to manually aim but more aim in the general direction and attack as quickly as possible… but to be optimal, you’ll ideally want to be able to quickly manually aim towards a specific part of the monster say breaking a specific part if you want to contribute more to the team than just applying steady ranged dps/status.
Can do that with the touch pad d-pad again, but it’s certainly awkward compared to a analog.
May dip for a N3DS in February. Would love to have a Majora one buuuuuuuuut.
Man gore mangala is an asshole, me and 2 mates busted up every single breakable part and he still lived to run the clock on our asses.
Also convinced me to buy a New 3DS before xenoblades come out, Vita showed me the light with hunting games on twin analogues and this backed that shit up, fuck the claw.
im really liking the MH4 demo so far, i havent played since MH3 on the wii and i dont remember the animations for the bosses being as awesome as they are now. really liking the extra verticality what with being able to climb up cliffs to jump on top of the dinos etc.
i think i may have to spend some time with the insect glaive as well once i get my hands on the N3DS. aiming the insect is such a pain without an extra analog stick but once you get the red essence you can just go full on beast mode on them. being able to pogo stick on top of enemies is pretty sweet too.
Yall getting IronFall?
Probably not, I only buy Nintendo consoles for Monster Hunter, did that for the Wii, Wii U and now the 3DS other than Monster Hunter nothing from Nintendo interests me.
