Man I played the SHIT outta Link’s Awakening… Probably my favorite Zelda overall, but I’m one of the weirdos who holds Zelda II, Majora’s Mask, and Wind Waker in high regard.
I love the Oracle games too… Probably one of the last things Capcom did right.
Renegade Kid is a very interesting developer, they make games that have potential, but the end products end up not catching my interest enough to pay for. Dementium 1 and 2 in concept sound cool if not derivative, but watching actual game play makes me know for sure I’m not missing out on anything good. Mutant Mudds and Teasurenauts look a bit more interesting, but the awful art and generic, slow level design completely turned me off. Moon 3DS looks kind of interesting if not super repetitive, but it’s actually the first visually appealing game I’ve seen from them so I might buy it when all episodes are out.
Xeodrifter looks and sounds interesting I’ll keep an open mind it might be the firts Renegade Kid game I buy.
Nintendo is going in on this Megaman thing…to the point that one of the latest puzzle panel is Megaman themed. This is the first 3rd party puzzle panel that they’ve done.
So I started up Bravely Default again, and late into the game…
[details=Spoiler]Chapter 8 in the command tower. I was doing well with my team (team Alternas gave me trouble though)… And then I saw Ominas. I got this, I thought.
I lost ten times in a row.
Team nuclear was too real. I ended up having to create a complete counter team to that team using DK Absorb Magic+Salve Maker Combinations and multi-targeted Dispels to stay alive, and Quada Dark Breathing me still cost me runs (when I wasn’t making him debuff me.) Probably the hardest battle in the game since you absolutely CANNOT brute force those nukes.[/details]
The fuck did they do to Yoshi’s New Island? It’s like Nintendo took a shit and wrapped it in a box and stamped it with Nintendo’s seal of quality on it.
Kirby’s Triple Deluxe however was an awesome romp. It was just a great game to play. Great music, bosses, encounters, and 3D visuals. I’d recommend it to anybody.
I’ll probably buy ASG day 1 because as an eshop game it’s not getting any discounts ever …I haven’t bought a game at full price or day 1 since Diablo 3.
Yeah but I also don’t generally care about LE’s a despite how cool they look. The only one I’m pissed that I didn’t get when I had the chance was the pikachu xl. That thing is bad ass. It goes for so much now though.
just recently beat smt 4 it’s a pretty good game.
i didn’t think it was that difficult.
seems like your typical animu game and it kinda is.
the game at the beginning seems very forced story, character, and dialog wise, but if you push through you will become very comfortable with it.
when you beat the game you will miss it.
