This game is going to be soo much fun. So…Most of the game is still using sprites. I really could have sworn that they had switched completely over to 3D so I got fooled on that. They did a pretty fucking good job on that artwork and animation. Hard mode gets unlocked afterwards
I’m pretty sure the game will log 300+ hours minimum if you play by yourself. I’m still farming G rank ivory lagias and I aint touching event I.Lagis fuck that guy
I hate myself for doing it but it looks so good and I think between Fire Emblem Awakening’s Lunatic mode and Etrian Odyssey IV my RPG masochist side has reawaken, I can’t stop trying to grind levels.
Enjoying PXZ. I wish it had more depth. Seems very shallow but at least I enjoy the flashiness and at least some kind of customization with items and trying to land crits. Akira/Pai/Anyone owns faces. ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA
Today was my birthday so I splurged a bit on 3DS games. Picked up Pilotwings Resort new ($14.95) Shinobi (was surprised to see this one) used and complete, and Project X Zone Limited Edition. I’m glad PXZ got localized but I’ve never been the best strategy RPG player. I didn’t know the LE came with so much goodies. An art book, poster and a soundtrack? Frickin’ A, Namco Bandai.
On the downloads, side, I bought Mighty Switch Force! 2 and Kokuga. I want to thank you guys for repping Kokuga in this thread. I probably wouldn’t have purchased it otherwise. I’m familiar with a few of G Reves releases and I believe few of them have been released in America. So I don’t mind a digital release as long as we got this one.
While I was looking at 3DS games, it really hit me that this thing is LOADED with so many good games. Anyone saying the 3DS has nothing to play is drinking the haterade. I couldn’t decided on what to pick up. I really, REALLY wanted to pick up Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone (I love art and like drawing) and Code of Princess for my beat 'em up fix but I didn’t think I needed to spend more than I already had, even on my special day. Seriously, I could LIVE on the 3DS alone due to the sheer amount of awesomeness leaking out of it.
