Nintendo 3DS - Best Handheld Today

Yes, Rugalbitch doesn’t venture outside of that area and anything related to Vega lol. I still need to get the new 3DS title.

admittedly I have only played it for like five seconds, been playin Manster Hunter with stupid no internet games

I like MH but waiting on MH4, which will actually have online play for the 3DS and I’ll care again. Expect me to not fucks with shit and just sit back shooting things.

I hadnt read anything on 4 but this one line alone does it for me

"Underwater battling will not be present. "

Nintendo now sells refurbished DSes: http://www.gamespot.com/news/nintendo-selling-refurbished-portables-below-gamestop-rates-6407695

With this move, they’ve cut into GameStop’s used game profits.

Given there is no physical location and Nintendo having their own online store isn’t that widely known to the common masses, I don’t expect it to be that much, although I am sure it will cause them to change prices.

I want to swap my 3DS for an XL, but I want to keep all my data/games. Has anyone done this? Will Gamestop let me transfer my data at the store, or do I need to have both systems in my possession at home to transfer?

Any pointers or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Don’t quote me on this, but I think you can copy your SD data to your PC, and then when you get your new device, you just copy that data back to the new card.

That would seem much easier than having to buy back my old system to take home, swap data, and then return my old system to the store… I’ll look into that, thanks. I’m googling now, but I wanted to see if anyone on this thread had to do the same thing, and how you did it.

You need both consoles to do a system transfer. You connect them both to each other and wait while the data is transferred. The Gamestop I deal with will let you keep both systems behind their counter while the transfer happens, but ymmv on this.

That sounds much easier! I’m sure most Gamestops would let you do that if they want me to buy their shit, I just didn’t know if it was possible or not without wifi.
Thanks!

While I love my FE:A 3DS, after playing MH3 on my friends XL with the circle pad attachment…I didn’t want to go back to my 3DS…it was too godlike. Sure it was huge but…man…it was amazing.

I know, the feeling all too well.

On the bright side this may interest you if you are a Mega Man fan…

Whether the GS will let you do it will depend upon factors. 1. How busy that store is at that point and time 2. Are the people behind the counter jerks/not willing to go through it? and finally the most important 3. Are they near a wifi hot spot?

Sorry, I think I didn’t say this clearly enough, when I say connect them together, I meant via wifi connection. I don’t know if they need any kind of wireless hotspot or if they can handle it on their own. I do know my local Gamestop does this for customers, so I’m guessing the built in wifi should be able to handle it, but don’t quote me on it.

cant wait for that game its my wet dream.

Downloaded Ninja Gaiden from the eShop. It’s still pretty tough but not as hard as my memories of it. I haven’t revisited it since I was a kid. Playing on 3DS makes my hands hurt, though.

Is Shinobi 3DS any good?

It is difficult, but if you enjoy a sort of old school challenge, then it is one of the best action platformers on the system. For true hardcore gamers rather then modern kids that claim such but are used to easily obtained achievements.

Yeah, I kinda figured that. I’ll call around and see if any of the GS in my area will help me out. I’ve been playing NES games and the screen is just too small for me on the regular 3DS, plus I have big hands and I think the XL will be more comfortable for my eyes and ergonomically.

Thanks again for the response!

Weird, I tried to respond to this post from my smart (stupid?) phone last night and it doesn’t seem to have posted, so if something wonky is going on and that post eventually shows up from the depths of the online etherworld, I apologize in advance!
