Oh…That’s pretty dumb yo!
you never forget the fundamentals of the games, that’s why. I once got super drunk off my ass, decided to throw in shinobi(ps2) for the first time in years and managed to fly through the first five levels while killing the fifth boss in one hit lol. My friends just looked at me like W T F
Is anybody getting this? I’m on the fence. And only because Sigma series has been the best action games this gen imo.
But I don’t know about NG3. I get a counter-fit feeling from it. Idk.
Fuck this game and fuck Hayashi. I may conisder getting after a price drop if Master Ninja mode is unlocked from the start, otherwise forget it. This game doesn’t look to offer anything in terms of replay value. Co-Op Ninja Trials and versus Multiplayer look like ass.
Lol speaking of shinobi it’s the same story/plot element. He has to kill in order to survive…
Thought about getting interested, saw QTE, said “fuck that shit”
Developers don’t care anymore. They saw that Sega wasn’t gonna do anything else with Shinobi pertaining to Hotsuma, Akujiki, or Oboro Clan and said, “Welp…NEW PLOT TIME BITCHES.”
People have gotten early copies of the guide.
- No TDS.
- No unlockable costumes.
- When you beat it on any difficulty you unlock ultimate ninja mode.
- Only 3 swords in the game. Dragon sword, Jinran-Maru and Blade of the Archfiend.
- More human type enemies.
- Ninja clan mode consists mainly of different color clones and different masks.
- 2 ninpo, but Art of the Dark void is for Ninja Trials only.
- Nothing unlocks after beating the game except ultimate and some stuff for Ninja Trials
- Ninja trials mode is used for leveling your characters with Karma. All the moves in clan battle are earned through karma.
- No Female Skins for Ninja Trial.
GG Hayashi. How can you have less in a supposed sequel? wtf.
Someone tell me who the villain is in this game. Plz let it be a demon or something. Or jaquio.
Also where are the boobs?
And the boobs are gone because seeing massive breasts conflicts with getting players to feel what it’s like to cutdown a human being. GGs.
THREE swords? Yeah, fuck this game.
Apparently there will be more weapons as free DLC for some random ass reason…
Why have it as free dlc? Why can’t they just put them in the fucking game?
Because they don’t want to work on it now.
Only 3 swords? Random guy in a mask as the bad guy? More humans than monsters as the bad guys? No big titties? No decapitations or Gore? and Shitty unnecessary multiplayer?
fuck this game. bye.
lol only 3 swords? they gonna share movesets too?
yea. 100% guarantee that they will share the same moveset.
I don’t understand the logic these producers take. Let me get this straight: Ninja Gaiden is known for being a damn challenging series, with a lackluster story(Ryu go kill fiends and Ryu is all “No prob homie.”), and some chick with big breasts. Current producer says,“No, let’s go away from that to make people feel what’s it’s like to cut down people and make the game easier.” Essentially betraying what the series in known in the first place. And this crap is happening again. Only for the series to fall on it’s face, and the producer ends up turning the series back into what it was. Why. Why would any producer think betraying what a game is, is BETTER? Because some shitty players who can’t even evade or block on Ninja Dog quit? For some shitty MP? What’s funny is that he wanted to make NG more “accessible”. Okay… NINJA DOG difficulty was for that. WTF. All he had to do was make Ninja Dog available from the start thus more “accessible.”
And I am willing to bet the tutorial teaches none of the target audience how to be better at Ninja Gaiden thus not becoming more accessible at all. But that’s okay. Because shitty players stay salty and only care about how cool everything looks and want to brag about their achievement points. Son, this producer is trying to get US to feel bad because of all the Spider ninjas that we killed in NGII. You know those same assholes that even with their arms and legs cut off will still try to kill you. Imagine how I felt after one of them killed me with a kamikaze attack…
Come on Platinum Games, don’t lose your balls too. MGR and Anarchy Reigns.
apprarently, NG3 has been reviewed for Official Xbox Magazine. some additional points from the review. tldr version: it’s good only because most modern games are so crappy:[details=Spoiler]Review Score 8.0 out of 10.
-
QTE’s can be turned off in the options menu, but are frequent throughout the game, from a slow- motion knee slide to slicing through enemies to using the Kunai climb.
-
Playing as Ryu makes you feel like a super hero as he is nearly unstoppable, meaning you won’t die as nearly as much as in previous games.
-
Five difficulty levels: Hero, Normal, Hard, Master Ninja and Ultimate Ninja.
-
Gone is every primary weapon save for Ryu’s single sword (You still have shurikens).
-
No yellow essence currency from killing enemies or opening chests.
-
You are stuck with a non-upgradable sword and Ryu’s health regenerates after each battle, so health restoring items have been excised.
-
Ninpo has become a use it or lose it perk that powers up during each encounter.
-
Limb removal is gone.
-
Campaign is split into eight days and the story runs circles around the other games.
-
Bosses are nowhere near as memorable or numerous as you’d expect from a Ninja Gaiden game.
-
Only one cameo from a Dead or Alive character, Ayane.
-
You can lower the difficulty at any point in the game.
-
Ninja Cinema returns.
“All of this reads like the evisceration of a horrible game, that’s definitely not the case. It’s a matter of context. Compared to its predecessors, Ninja Gaiden 3 is a noticeable step back due largely to all the gameplay decisions that are taken out of your hands. Stacked up against its contemporaries, however, it still stands among the finest fast action experiences on Xbox (Bayonetta excepted). The time spent with Ryu both behind and without his mask is riveting.” [the’]http://www.examiner.com/video-game-news-in-national/ninja-gaiden-3-official-xbox-magazine-review-details[/details]]('http://www.examiner.com/video-game-news-in-national/ninja-gaiden-3-official-xbox-magazine-review-details[/spoiler)the last comment made me laugh. it’s no wonder i don’t buy a lot of games.
