Ninja Gaiden 3:Razor's Edge - Game out on 4/2 for PS3 and 360

i don’t think capcom will allow anyone to touch strider since he’s such a big trademarked character for them, especially after mvc3. but i’d be happy if capcom, makers of dmc and onimusha, would throw us ninja fans a bone and make us a new bad ass Strider game.
if you’re reading this capcom…please please please make another Strider game. and no 3ds bullshit like sega did with Shinobi. we want that shit on xbox360 and ps3.

Tecmo is infamous for making the easiest games. with the most braindead AI and the simpliest fighting mechanics.
game over bros.

off topic…
i recently downloaded NINJA BLADE from Amazon.com for 20 bucks. so after i downloaded and booted it up, i find out the game can use a controller, but only a xbox360 pad or a third party pad, but refuses to recognize a ps3 controller!
so even if i downloaded Ninja Blade 2 weeks ago, i haven’t been able to play it, since i don’t own a xbox360 or one of its controllers. so now i haveta pay 40 bucks for a controller to play one single solitary game that cost me 20 dollars. this sux!
i think its more that windows 7 blocks recognition of any ps3 controller than the game itself. but i’m not sure since NB was only released on the xbox360 and not for the ps3. so it could be that. regardless, if i got the pc version, needless to say i should be able to play the damn game with any controller. and not have the game refuse to recognize the ps3 controller just coz its a sony ps3 controller…xbox’s biggest console rival.
i smell microsoft shenanigans.
i smell something stinky.
why do i get the feeling bill gates wants more of my money, even if its the hard strongarm way.

i hate microsoft.
i hate bill gates.
detestable.

Install MotionJoy and have the PS3 controller be emulated as an xbox360 one. Pretty sure that’s what I had my friend do and it works fine.

And PS3 controllers work fine on PCs as long as you have the right chipset, you need drivers for them to work. DS3 tool works fine. Moving on to the games, games have to be made to RECOGNIZE controllers. For example, DMC3SE on PC doesn’t recognize 360 controllers because the controllers are new. Fortunately you can add the settings in an ini. For every else, there’s Xpadder?

thanks brother! the motionjoy was just what i needed! i tried to download a driver when i realized i couldn’t play this game (2 weeks ago) with the ps3 controller, but all i could find was a driver program that didn’t work at all and filled my pc with spam ads…so i deleted that program.
this on ther other hand, worked and it didn’t produce spam ads.

the game is pretty good btw, for a 20 dollar game. enjoying it right now.
thanks again jinsaotomex3

Good to hear that motionjoy worked. It really is a great little program.

so wait… correct me if I’m wrong.

No weapons?
No Dismemberment?
Easy?

sigh…

Exactly how I feel, now Im thinking the game should retail for $49.99 instead of $59.99. I was so hyped at first now Im on the fence. hopefully peeps tell me its good enough to cop.

sigh Stupid Microsoft and your Xbox, I want to play Ninja Gaiden Black but I don’t have a controller. This wouldn’t be an issue if we had an Xbox emulator :frowning:

They made it easy for those players who like to point at the screen and yell “COOL” and “AWESOME”. Now I have nothing against there being an easier difficulty for those who like immobile targets but what I fear is that they’ll cop out and just make cheap AI that’s not challenging player skills but simply fallback on the player finding some exploit to abuse over and over. Or it can be the case with DMC where enemies aren’t actually more challenging but just take and dish out more damage but get crushed just as easy.

That’s exactly what we got in NG2, so it’ll probably be the case here.

Then again… that’s exactly what people did in NG1 and NG2 as well with the ultimate attacks so not really that much different from usual .

There’s a difference between choosing to abuse an exploit and being forced to.

UTs are like the only way to survive.

Isn’t it backwards-compatible on a 360? I’m almost positive it is.

It is, but I’d rather play it on an emulator for the sake of convenience and some of the neater things that emulators do that the consoles don’t such as rendering the game at a much higher resolution than normal. It makes games look pretty damn nice regardless of how old they are. I will probably just get some cheap chinese knock-off xbox controller though.

I also don’t want an xbox 360 unless I can get it for free . PC + PS3 handles most of my gaming needs.

WTF? Just use a PS3 controller.

I don’t get it? You want me to use my PS3 controller on my original Xbox or with the emulators? o_O
I have a wireless 360 controller that I use for some PC games as well as emulators so no need for that.

I guess I could buy NGS… but Sigma is no NG Black…

I just want an xbox emulator damnit . Oh I think I’ll play GunValkyrie too when I order the controller.

good luck with that emulator. Just play sigma. It has better rendered graphics. No matter how good an emulator is, it wont play accurately. And we won’t see a good Xbox emulator for a long while if ever

I know, stop ruining my dreams like that :frowning:

Just buy an Xbox I’m sure you can find one for 20 bucks if you look a little.

I have one, I also have a copy of NG and a copy of NGB. I just don’t have an xbox controller and can’t be assed to order a cheap chinese knock-off online. I was playing NGS2… why is this so easy? Then again I did play NG2 on Xbox so I pretty much knew what to do, but that was years ago. It shouldn’t be this easy! My friend (who is a fucking video game scrub, he just plays all the games on the easiest difficulty and thinks he’s hot shit) was getting his ass kicked on Adept or w/e it was, funny as hell to watch.
