Nike + Ipod, whose got it?

For those who don’t know what this is:

http://www.apple.com/ipod/nike/

Picked this thing up about a week ago. The little gadget cost 30 bucks and the shoes were 100.

The shoes themselves are very nice, I needed new running shoes anyways and they work out great. The sensor is easy to put in the shoe and the interface works nicely, you’d be suprised how much more determination you get when it tells you how much longer you have to run.

The Nike website is a really nice feature too, you upload your records on itunes and you can compare/challenge others. They’ve got score boards too showing how far/fast people ran within a month/week (although the top runner ran 1000 miles in a week, haxx)

You can set goals and resolutions for yourself. Like I will run XX miles by the end of the month or else i’ll run XX miles next month. The site will determine your average and set a goal for you to achieve (like run an average pace of XXmins a mile within your next 5 runs.) If you pass it, your given a little trophy on your profile.

For someone like me who has to do alot of running, this is a god send.

Only issue is it only works on the new Ipod nanos :wasted: (had to trade my first gen with a friend)
