You guys don’t seem to get this is the first tekken on DVD.
According to Tekken Officials, if they had added an online component, they would have had to remove some elements of gameplay elsewhere. I’m glad that they didn’t because online fighting games are boring.
A DVD full of information. This is worth 50bucks and I’m trading in Capcom Fighting Evolution for it

You serious, Tekken Beach Volleyball? gross. All I know is that I saw the actual cover today and on the back of the cover it had some other game (I forgot what it was called) but its like tekken force like in T4
Was the Tekken force mode on 4 different than in 3?
We already know the graphics are slightly inferior to the arcade, in textures and lighting.
Personally I played the demo and hardly noticed the difference. 
I dunno. I don’t really play tekken and never played 3 so it could be. All I know is that I saw (I think steve) was fighting 3 Jacks.
Didn’t you hear, Gordon Freeman is in it, now you can have a boner while playing T5 and hating everything else thats not Half Life 2. :tup:
Kunimitsu’s back? Awesome! When I first started to play Tekken 2 she was one of my favourite fighter’s, they never once explained what happened to that character between Tekken 2-Tekken 4.
Meh Beach Volleyball, fun at first but in Tekken 3 it easily got boring, it’s a pretty lame bonus imo.
Last not in relation to the quote, online play, I am slightly disappointed that it doesn’t feature here but it’s not that big a deal for me, no online gameplay to me means more focus on the gameplay and features of Tekken 5. In other words; no distractions.

The first one we already heard was Jin Kazama in his own adventure style mode. Damn Story Mode <_< Can’t they just stick with Arcade? Personally I just feel that Story Mode makes the game really tacky in places.
I really hope they dont put a stupid volleyball game in there or even bowling, and do we really need a story mode? if i remember correctly tekken 4 had story mode and arcade mode both were the same thing just with cg endings for story mode.
I feel that vf4 evo raised the bar for home converstions it would be a shame if tekken 5 just waded in with another slap dash conversion like tekken 4, in fact i remember tekken 4 “training mode” do 20 moves in the fastest time possible HAHA pretty lame really.
As for extra characters i’m not holding my breath you’ll probably get jinpachi and that’s it i feel the currant amount of characters is plenty i’d have liked heiachi and armour king actually forget armour king default king is now on standards.
Anyway i cant wait for t5 i just hope they make a decent training mode i dont really give a shit about story modes and time attacks

Supposedly, the Jin Kazama force mode is called Tekken: Devil Within and the other secret mode may be the Arcade History mode which includes the arcade version of T1 and supposedly T2 and T3 unless they are played via Theater mode.

YES! I was wondering if Namco was going to follow suit with the old skool tribute after Tecmo’s DoAU and Sega’s VF Evo.

It’s not a matter of not reading at the time i’d posted i’d only heard about heihechi as a rumour, so if somebody posts on here saying it is confirmed i dont know about you i tend to take things on here with a pinch of salt until i’ve seen it from a more reliable source.
One other thing who actually cares about tekken force? i dont know about you but once i’ve unlocked whatever it is tekken force mode is holding it never gets played again, think it’s time to drop force alltogether
