My work league is imploding, and I’m learning a lot about certain people. Commish got caught twice turning waivers off to grab players that someone else dropped for him, now the people that lost week 1 and drafted like dumbasses want to restart the whole league and redraft, lol.
This was my first time trying to juggle two leagues and it might already be down to just this one. But on the plus side, I learned a lot about certain people.
After getting destroyed in Week 1, I’m now first to choose on the waver wire. Do I select WR Mike Wallace or WR Will Fuller? Does are the only top WRs not already taken. I am in a PPR league
As a Packers fan, I’m here to say that my team shouldn’t be #1 on the ranking boards. It’s just absolutely ludicrous at this point, considering that we barely beat the Jaguars, and no, I’m not undermining the Jags either, because they looked good as well.
However come on now, the offense is still shaky, Nelson hasn’t truly shown that he’s the man he once was Pre-Injury yet, we still can’t run the ball when we need too, and our defense is STILL suspect with Clay being our only true Bright Light. When we’re playing strong on both sides, but more importantly with consistency, then come back and talk to me about it again, until then, the Packers are not #1.
Honestly, the Steelers were the most impressive for me this week. And I HATE the steelers but they played some GOOD football.
Pats or steelers are my #1 and #2 respectively right now until proven otherwise.
I’m feeling like EDP with this game coming up against the Giants right now. Delvin Breaux is out with an broken leg which means the Saints literally have no one who can guard OBJ. If the defense looked free against the Raiders we aint seen nothing yet.
The Bengals beat a really good Jets team. I wouldn’t sleep on them even though we all know the Red Rifle turns into a Red Ryder BB gun in the playoffs. If Dalton doesn’t be Dalton they’re a serious threat
The Steelers were impressive but they beat up a bad team and there were a couple of calls and just sheer bad luck there that could’ve made the game closer than it had any right being.
Pats went into the house of a Super Bowl favorite without Brady, Gronk and 3 starting OL while Fitz returned to godlike status and still pulled out a solid win.
Solid win? They were one bad snap short from losing that game. Sure they exceeded expectations that most had of them but to say they were solid is kinda reaching man.
Any win against a top flight team like Arizona IN Arizona is solid, especially when you’re missing your two best offensive players and a majority of your starting offensive line.
