I actually don’t give a fuck about any competitive merit these games may have because both Brawl and Melee have fulfilled my casual needs. So you might as well make them competitive since casuals won’t be able to tell the difference.
Game better have some more Meta Knight and Olimar. Hypest of the Hype.

Yeah, fuck Smash Balls, we need super meters. And supers shouldn’t be guaranteed KOs. They should be avoidable or take some skill to use.
I hope Sonic gets buffed from Super Sonic to Hyper Sonic just for the hell of it. Might not be the most balanced decision but I would love to see the reaction.

I’m fine with the supers being a BIT OP; while I enjoy the game having some competitive merit, I don’t want ALL of the zaniness removed. But no “Press B, I win” shit like Sonic.
Well since namco made the smash court tennis series I for one would like to see Anna Kournikova rock up with pacman and start smacking him six ways to christmas using her racket and ball launcher…just wishful thinking but it would make for an interesting battle.

What I hate about Smash Bros is that it’s TOO random. Anyone who wants to win with skill is shit out of luck because everyone else just wants to play all pokeballs on Warioware Inc.
Speaking of Wario, they better give Wario a movelist drawn from WARIOLAND this time, not Warioware. Fuck that farting jackass they put in the game last time. I want the Wario that sets himself on fire and turns into a snowball and a zombie. I want him to put on different hats for his attacks.

It’s a very random game in terms of characters but then isn’t the Marvel vs Capcom series.
My god shut the fuck up everyone. Nobody would even see this thread if it was in the Smash section because nobody even goes there. That forum might as well not exist. I love bashing on Smash and calling it a party game as much as the next guy (mainly because I hate the community with a passion), but this might actually be fucking godlike.
Think about it. If Namco-Bandai happened to take the best of both worlds in smash (pretty much everything Melee) and fighting games, we might witness the greatest competitive fighter (yes, I said it) to ever exist. Considering the recent fighting game boom in the industry, I’m sure this is the reason why Sakurai collaborated with Namco-Bandai. He already knows it’s going to make another shit ton of sales from the casuals just by the Smash Bros. name alone, but why not get some more by giving competitive play and balance a little more attention?
