I hope that makes sense. As you can see, it places a bit more on the individual to help out their team. If there is more than 1 person overall to have the most pts (ex: imp=5 wins, ricky=5 wins, darith=5 wins) then all 3 people will have earned 1pt for their team. Even if (ex: imp=5 wins and GGB=5 wins), and they are on the same team, they would both earn 1pt for their team. But, say more than 1 person on a team have the same amount of wins under the overall wins, then the 1pt will be split named (ex: dr.b=4wins, dirty=4wins–they are on the same team so 1pt is awarded to DR.B/DIRTY)
Not really, because then you’d be there counting tons of points. Remember, the breakdown is for each game. If you just added wins=pts then you would probably be close the 100’s and logistically that could be a nightmare with number loss. But, I just thought my idea would work out better, and give the players the feeling that they all did something good for their teams.
i think we should start out with just NPT vs. MGL and if one particular team wins at a certain game…lets say mvc2…then they should get a point…first to 3 points takes the cake…then have SMT play the winning arcade right after(if the team is up to it)…seeing as it started out as a newpark vs. mgl thing… I’m not tryint to exclude SMT i just think it would be easier to have only 2 arcades competing at a time…just a thought

How bout just let MGL and TILT play first and who ever
wins that match SMT can challenge later on if that team is

First I don’t know if NPT wil leven have a team yet. 2. The team battle is kinda how they do it on the E.C and other places where they have team tourney’s where you have a team that consist of 5 people. You have who ever you want 2 go on your team first, meaning the weaker player who’s not very good at that game . They play each other… I.E Huy vs DR B. If B wins he plays who evers next on the team. If Dr B. goes through the whole team then his team wins a point, since no one could beat Dr. B no one else on his team would have to play. And having an odd amount of games sound correct, But i ono what the final game would be, most people are saying to take out svc since its very crappy and isn’t very fun… Hope everyone understands the rules about how the teams are going to work Out.
Simple as this…Dr.B vs. Huy. Winner and loser move on…Since there is 5 people a team each playter from each team plays one game in each game. 5 is a good number since it make it 3-2. It’s all fair.
I think it’s what ever team wins three matches in one game, wins the game. Fist team to win 3 games wins the battle. Easy as that. And we will have a team soon enough.
The rules for the team is already posted,thats how they do it all team tourney’s. So we’re not changing the format. If one person on your team or the other team can beat the other teams entire team then more power 2 you. But as far as the team rules go its gonan stay in that format. SOrry. And as far as NPT team your team "MUST CONSIS OF PLAYERS WHO ACTUALLY PLAYER AT THAT ARCADE 1-3 TIMES A WEEK.

And the 3 times a week rule does not apply…period…One of the Newpark Players is Naps and he prolly doesnt play that often but is a Newpark Player…etc etc…
Anyways we need to finalize the game list…and keep it within certain limits…
All I’m implying is getting players who dont even play @ the arcade would just be unfair don’t you think? That would be like me recruiting J. Wong,Sanford, Desmond,Mixup and Rotron to play on my mvc2 team , Choi,Nelson,Cole,Sanchez and Ino for my CVs2 … you know what I mean. I’m not trying to disresepct the players who want to rep tilt,but if you really ain’t from there why u even in the team tourney ya know? And picking a team of 5 per game is just to complicated and to confusing. If NPT wants 2 do that, that’s fine… but if people flake or dont show up , that’s on you…You just have to make sure that you guys are well organized and know what you’re doing. I don’t even know who the team captain is for NPt or Solano Tilt.Mgl Captain is Huy so I sugguest that people get organized and start praticing. As far as the date well how does Sunday October the 19 sound ? I think that would give enough people time to ask for the day off if needed and to pratice and what not…

sounds good to me… though 25 people seems a bit much…anyhow I can’t wait to see who is reppin Newpark. I talked to MilitaryMind today and he says if there is some tekken he’s down to play that for tilt.
EDIT: It seems like we have a definite date and game list, but not arcade. So would I be right in assuming it will be at MGL since they have all the games listed?
