I just bought Street Fighter x Tekken today, I tried it out and I’m liking it so far and I would like to know how to improve my skills.<div>(I have played a lot of UMvC3 and SSF4:AE in the past if that helps)</div><div>I would like to know some good characters to start off with as a newcomer to SFxTK and some basic BnBs and combos.</div><div>All I really know are chains that lead into a cross rush into the second character and I read that doing cross rush combos all the time is something you don’t want to do.</div><div>I’m really liking Hwaorang so far and I would like to him to be part of my main team. I really want a character that can really be aggressive and really get in there.</div><div>Any suggestions would really help, thanks!</div><div>EXTRA I bought a used copy of SFxTK Special Edition for PS3 and I was wondering how to get Cole because it says I can get him with this copy of the game.</div><div> I’m not sure if it’s because it’s a used copy or I’m doing something wrong help for that would be good too.</div><div><br></div><div>(P.S I like female characters but male characters are good to :3)</div><div><br></div>
Team Korea (Hwoarang/Juri) I think is the most common Hwoarang pairing in SFxT. Jin is also a popular teammate for him.<br><br>Better yet, you may check his character section for more information: http://forums.shoryuken.com/categories/hwoarang<br>
Rang eh? Grats on picking top tier! …j/k, but he’s really solid. There’s an excellent post in <a href="“You Are Not A Warrior, You’re A Beginner.” The New Street Fighter X Tekken 2013 Combo Thread thread’s first page</a> that lists a bunch of Hwoarang combos for easy browsing. As far as partners, I think he’d work well with pretty much anyone… personally I’d play him with Nina or someone else who can really bring the damage for little/no meter useage.
Can someone name some characters that can bring damage for little/no meter usage?

Lili is a strong mixup character with solid footsies and a great Anti-air/anti-fireball game, but she eats meter like a boss and scales combos to hell… you </span><b><i>can</i></b> get high damage out of her but you’ll be using some bars to achieve it.

Don’t forget Kazuya particularly if you mastered his EWGF.<br>
You may want to considering using King if you want high damage. I have a King combo that nets 400 damage with just three moves. Good archor character too.

<font face=“Arial, Verdana” size=“2”><span style=“line-height: normal;”>Kazuya, dont know why noone mentioned him. Learning to get the Electric wind god fist vs the wind god fist is hard as it requires a just frame input (let me know if you dont get it); however he literally doesn’t need meter ever for his personal combos if you can do it</span></font><div style=“font-family: Arial, Verdana; font-size: 10pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal;”><br></div><div style=“font-family: Arial, Verdana; font-size: 10pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal;”>It is more advanced of a technique though so prepare to practice it for weeks but if you stick to him idk who can do better meterless combos</div><div style=“font-family: Arial, Verdana; font-size: 10pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal;”><br></div><div style=“font-family: Arial, Verdana; font-size: 10pt; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal;”>Edit: oops someone got to kaz before me</div>
