You need to cancel into fast fly before the second hit on the mp

alright guys, I’ve been playing sentinel a lot lately, and have gotten some great tips. If anyone is willing to help, I’m having trouble doing unfly combos. Like the most common one is where Sent is in flight mode and [flight] lk. [unfly] lk [fastfly] lk lk rp. I’ve been playing mainly thrax and row with Sent on point. What are ways to practice this combo and other unfly combos? One way I’ve done it is in training mode have the partner on manual and pick sent and put him on flight mode and practice that way. Curious how there are other ways?
Also forgot, this maybe off tangent, but has anybody ever have that problem of doing execution on certain sides of the screen? I can ffly like 80% with Sent on the left side facing the right, same thing with Mag doing hypergrav tempest.
For unfly combos, I just normally try it out on a big character first, like Juggernaut. Also, I make sure to try it as a corner combo, then try it mid-screen.
As for the second question, I STILL have that problem. I’m working on it though…
You mean Refly? It’s one of the hardest things to do with Sentinel. It requires, Unfly mode, fastfly, and really quick hands. When reflying, it should look like this:
Launch -> sj. lk -> ff. lk -> unlfy -> ff. lk -> lk lk RP.

@Green. Good lookin out! For the longest I had been struggling to learn how to fastfly, however, when I practiced “moving through neutral to a direction to cancel the recovery of flight mode” rather than try to tap a direction after activating flight mode, my fastfly has improved. Again, thanks for the tip.
You know you can do attack+assist button as well without going into neutral right? I can do both methods but it’s WAY easier to do it with the assist button IMO.
@BMAN409: I’m green when it comes to Sentinel (just starting to learn the basics). I appreciate you informing me about this method. Lately, I’ve been a training room fiend, so I look forward to experimenting with the attack+assist method. Big Uppers for the info bman!

Just keep in mind with Sentinel you can either do direction+attack or attack+assist button for it to combo.
@Bman…Teams that I use are: Scrub, MSP, Santhrax, and Sent/Doom/CapComm. Thanks for the combo suggestions. I’m taking them to the training room(believe dat). I’ve been focusing on tightening up the basics for Sent, such as practicing his fly/unfly( fast enough without touching the ground). As a result, I see an improvement.Thanks for your help Bman.
