i mean like that one long combo with sent on the corner u get pushed away after every fly/unfly rep and then when u fly again u have to move towards the opponent to continue the combo… how do u do that!!
I do the QCF+RK then the QCF+PP and the grenades explode right on the spot. Not doing something right like QCF+RK then buffer the QCF then hit PP? I’m still working on that s.LKx2 cancel. Thanks for the reply.

Cool variation. I usually see fp + mag into fast fly lk lk rp variation or fp (add rp if a little low to raise) hsf and then fp + mag into assist inf.
This is why Sanford IS Sent.
BTW, Anyone have advice for using Unfly on a D-Pad? (other than don’t lol)
Haven’t tried it myself yet, but it looks like only Cable-weight characters or lighter can get hit by the drones.
Need some help. I was just workin on ff combos, and for some reason, I’m havin a hard time with doing launch, sj. lk, ff, then f + lk. The f + lk after the ff isn’t comboing most of the time and I’m tryin to figure out why. Assuming I’m executing correctly, I wouldn’t think it’s some type of timing issue.
Maybe I’m doing the f + lk too fast? Not really sure.
my problem when learning fastfly was i was just trying to do it faster and faster everytime when someone showed me just how slow u can do it. u really have alot of flexibility with timing. the most important thing is ur spacing. u want to time it so the opponent is about 4 or 5 oclock from u so that the lk’s actually can combo.
try launchin them and waiting until ur slightly above them and slowly fast fly.

Anyone still looking at these threads? I never played mvc2 but was looking to use duc vaders team and wanted to know what type of sent stuff i should know.
whats the usage of the rocket punch recoil… qcf + hp, them press back + hp?? is there a strategic usage? The recover delay is less than a normal rocket punch?
i noticed players with their sentinels in the air try to bait the other sentinel to try to rocket punch first so they can dodge it and counter attack. If you pull your rp back, your recovery is much faster and you can avoid getting hit. Thats my observation
anybody able to refly very well on XBL? Especially all the Higher sent players? The closest thing was an unfly combo, but no reflies yet.
When flying and unflying, what is the best attack to do, ive been doing.
C HP, Fly, HP, Unfly Repeat.

This may be a really noob question, but what exactly constitutes a cancel in this game? I’m trying to learn sentinel but when I see something like C.hp xx Rocket punch or w/e (its a BnB ground combo i believe) do I just input the motion of the next attack during the previous attack, or is there something like a rapid cancel/roman cancel in BB/GG?
I’m just trying to learn 1 ground BnB and maybe 2 air ones to start off, but I’m really at a loss in this game (seen the threads, but dont really understand what I’m looking at as I’m used to 789,456,123 notation).
