What mistake? This is what the OP (sinetwo) did to his stick and he documented his procedure of modding his stick.
Most people end up completely replacing the buttons on their stick ether to what they feel is better buttons or colors of buttons they prefer.
You aren’t pointing out anything or being very clever. If you have nothing of value to add please refrain from posting.
Sorry I’m not trying to be clever but at the beginning of the guide he asks for any corrections, I’m only trying to help him get he’s guide correct, it clearly states you’ll need 6 Sanwa buttons but he changed 8 of them, what have I done wrong in telling him this?
That is because most fighting games will never utilize all 8 buttons, you only need 6 of them.
Some people even get button hole plugs for the extra two button holes.
6 is the minimum you need.
Also, you can replace 1 button and keep 7 if you’d like, that’s completely up to you.

I get that, I was only reading as a Noob to modding and thought it was strange that you said buy 6 but you changed 8, it’s just a bit confusing if your new to all this. Good guide by the way.
What is the actual size measurements of this stick, length by width. Trying to get a feel for the size in comparison to an original red and white sf4 TE stick. Also is it comfortable for playing on your lap ?
It won’t by be my first stick, but it will be my only modified stick. I missed the boat on the UK pre-orders for madcatz sticks. But thought it would be a good experience and I can personalise it to my own taste.
Ordered this stick from game and gonna grab the other bits now, should be able to get it done for next week, provided the rest arrive in time.
I personally hated the square gate, the travel distance to the corners were iiiiiiiisj. But again, I’d recommend as with all parts that you go with what you prefer. It is after all you using the stick, and not the internet on your behalf
