This thing is useless even if it is lag free. You still need a wired 360 pad plugged in to pass the authentication. So basically every time you want to use this you have to first plug in a wired 360 pad and wait for it to be recognized as p1 then unplug it and plug in your ps3 pad.
It’s sort of an expensive way to hotswap your pads, don’t waste your money.
damn, i think ill just order a stick tonight. xbox 360! i feel like i wasted my money with this hassle. i thought they would have had converters and shit by now. ill just cop a ps3 later, and get a hori joint for xbox or something for now. ps3 aint on my mind until tekken 6 anyways
The 360 to PS3 converter drops inputs. MarkMan recommended against it. That’s why I’m hesitant to recommend this one or anything from XCM. The XFPS (PS2 to 360) converter they make is notoriously bad.
The Sumoto PS2 to PS3 device does not work with the CrossFire adapter.
The Pelican adapter DOES work with the crossfire… (no notable lag). Was going to do another video like yesterday’s but couldn’t find a shit PS2 controller that I was willing to sacrifice.
:NOTE: The Crossfire does not magically make things that don’t work with the Pelican adapter work. (Tried a SF 15th Anniversary Nubytech stick and it didn’t work :shake:).
Also: had a couple guys in here earlier that are far better SF4 players than I dink around with the XCMs… Had two of 'em hooked up at the same time, and they were teching, FADCing, linking, and comboing 10+ hits. Crazy… This thing is the real deal.
