I actually seemed to once cross-up with Twelve’s X.F.L.A.T. in the corner. It was against a Hugo, he was walking backwards, and I activated high enough that Twelve was sliding down the screen in his super form. Somehow, it hit despite Hugo walking backwards, but I haven’t been able to do it since. Either the Hugo let up on the block the instant before impact, or it was a very rare situation-specific thing which is hard to replicate. Probably the former, but there you go.
What about A.X.E., does it work as an ambiguous cross up a la C. Viper’s burning kick?
Yes, it can be used that way. I’ve even done an ambiguous cross-up with his D.R.A.
Of course, in theory it’s probably possible to make his X.F.L.A.T. hit as an ambiguous cross-up on somebody’s wake-up if your timing’s good enough, but that would really be insanely difficult!
