The only difference in that reaction that I had, was the explosion in the background…Im like cooome oooonn damn it :U. Not pleased, but I’ll put my shades on and deal with it. Morrigan and Felicia seem ok, but Hsien-ko got a pat on the head and sent to school where shes gonna get bullied again.
Really depressed over this considering Hsien-ko is one of, if not my favorite character in the roster (and from savior). The Zero changes baffled me along with the slew of Wesker buffs in contrast with his REALLY slight nerfs. Sigh. I hope there are some unlisted ones as Ranadiel said. Wait, I don’t even think I have ever USED Rantetsu… 
At least Felicia/Morrigan are getting changed (even if the airdash change is probably going to mess with Morrigan pretty badly).

I was really looking forward to those jump cancelable normals, hopefully they’re still there just not listed. Otherwise she basically got nothing. I mean who gives a shit about the buff to rantetsu, no one uses it anyway.

the main problem i have with the changelog is the fact that even the fucking top tiers got buffed.
its equivalent to Hsien Ko being given presents on xmas day, and she excitedly opens her present (no wrapping paper mind you) tips out all the little styrofoam nodules it is packed with, and she pulls out a little stuffed animal, with the cutest face, missing an eye, but to Hsien ko, this is the best day of her life, she has never felt so loved. she squeezes her toy tightly. She hears a yell from across the room…
…and there is wesker, jumping up and down excitedly. In front of him, his very own hovercraft, complete with custom paint job and his nickname “Albie” painted on the side. With a jacuzzi on the top and a minibar inside, decked out with a games console and flat screen TV. The rest of his presents still unopened. Mom and Pa are happy Wesker likes his present.
Hsien Ko looks at her stuffed toy, and then back to Wesker, who is jumping up and down on the front of his hovercraft. Without a word, she slips out of the living room unnoticed by all, a tear running down her cheek, with the sounds of laughter and joy fading behind her…
Wow, Hsien-ko users really are whiners. You get all these changes that buff her and still complain, and you haven’t even played the game to see if they make a big difference.

Hsien-Ko players are secretly all masochists. We actually don’t want her to get buffed, and we even signed a blood contract with Niitsuma to keep it that way. Now all we’re waiting for is for everyone to be nerfed down to her level, because that’s clearly what we want to happen.
It’s actually more useful than it gets credit for as a poke. There’s a discussion on it over in the Lei Lei general on it in fact. But of all things to “buff…” If she gets her jump cancels, it will be a god tool to start a combo into the corner from midscreen.
With Hawkeye and Wesker and gang on the loose, I will be pissed if they took this out.
So, with midterms out of the way, I got to thinking about these tiny changes (it was hard not thinking about this, but I managed to do it. I’ve been studying hard, okay!). It seems they really do intend for her to be a zoning character. The “Why?” buff to cr., the changes to her command normals… They’re intended for her to use her long range tools to convert into combos. So at least she has a gameplan other than “Survive…”
Until you remember Ghost Rider. Why give her this stuff when Ghost Rider will do it so much better? Oh, it’s her assist, right.
All we can do at this point is make the best lemonade we can out of some very sour lemons.
At this point I wouldn’t be surprised, I wind up playing low-tier a lot, and I’m starting to think I might suffer from chronic depression.
How to make lemonade when all I have are bombs?

Wesker is pissed off about his nerfs too. Capcom is crazy. I’m sure Hsien Ko feels like she deserved better also.
I assume Capcom didn’t nerf him any harder than they did after this outburst from Albert.
