Hi everyone I just want you guys to analyse the game. Since I record it in our tourney. Here’s the site enjoy…

http://page.freett.com/sylch/index.htm

There also Alpha3 and GGXX

pretty big crowd. looks like everyone was having fun which is always cool.

Yeah it is. I never though that we having a huge crowd in our tourney.

What do you think of the match?

not terrible. but there is a lot of improvement needed. no rc’s and a lot of missed opportunities. where was this held again?

All of the players are tense I think…

In the Philippines

Wow, that’s a huge crowd. Looks like the Filipino equivelent of an ECC or a MWC. I didn’t know there was that big an Asian CvS2 scene outside of Japan. All those other countries with the funny talking languages are usually all KOF freaks. Such a big arcade with a Jap head to head cabinet too. Mai cross-up j.LK, d.HP for everybody!

I told my friend to be careful with mai cross-up. he so hasty to take mai out.

Mai is good. The d.HP is hits super fast (as fast as a Ryu d.MK) and is almost totally safe as well. If your buddy really wants to get the damage going though, he should be going for low shorts. Especially after landing the deep cross-up j.LK’s he was landing. d.LK, d.LK, s.LK xx level 2 rush super xx turn and burn. Or d.LK, d.LK, s.LK, far s.LP xx fan super. Both are Mai’s most reliable hit confirmation combos, and that’s what I would be going for if the opponent was lettting me cross him up like that.

Even if my cross-up is blocked, the opponent is still pulled in towards you, so you can be real tricky and walk FORWARD after a cross-up, go for a throw or delay the d.LK’s for a possible counter hit.

Other than the funny Mai combo, I’d say the level of play isn’t that much different from your average US tourney actually. Everybody did seem a little too nervous though. A lot of risky stuff and things that go unpunished whenever the match would get close at the end. Again though, awesome looking arcade. I wish I had a place to play like that (with that many people) around where I lived.

Where do you live by the way? Doesn’t your arcade have link mode in your Hometown?

that is why when I battled mai I didn’t want to be Crossup that time. Its so hard to recover after the crossup move vs mai.
