How does she do well against guile? Sonic Hurricane punishes a lot of her moves, rc sonic boom can keeps her at a distance from her bread and butter combo. Only think she really has going for her in that matchup is her counter against follow ups like the backfist, and b+hk. Rc booms damage her up close poking game unless you rc, and even then you have to anticipate which is risky when he is sitting on a level three. Also rolento fairs pretty well against her, and eagle puts up a good fight as well. She isn’t top tier in my opinion.

:wtf: A Sak is THE BEST char in the game. A Bison is better tham Cammy, and imo so is C Chun. Also K/P Kyo is better than Honda, and just as good as C Ken. And N Blanka is as good as KPC, and N Ken is as good as C. Also N Iori and K Geese should be there.

K geese has always been high middle tier, and P kyo is on the rise. I hear talks of Kyo having the best mixups in the game. Not sure i agree but just what I heard.
Well, seeing as how you can’t afford to tech Kyo’s throw because you’ll eat a lot of damage, it’s really hard to play him when he gets close to you. Since CvS2 has been reduced a lot to c.short or throw wakeup games, Kyo dominates a lot because:
a) both combos that he can do after a c.short allow him to stand up right next to you, and you can’t tech them since you eat the run-grab. (plus either combo does damage. One with super, one without)
b) you can’t quickrise/delay your wakeup after a roundhouse throw.
c) one missed DP/wakeup super = you lost your character. Kyo is a dizzy machine. If you miss a super or whatever, you’re going to get s.rh or c.fierce into the forward double kicks, into whatever he chooses ( rh dp more than often, unless you’re going for position, in which case j. down + fierce would be the best option).
And those are just his KNOCKDOWN options. He has a whole game developed around his rekkas. It’s been explained a million times already, so I won’t dab into it.
P-Kyo just makes this overall game much stronger, plus the fact that one parry can lead into you setting up all this… priceless.
Oh yeah: low jump down + fierce is REALLY FAST on big chars. You can do it as a crossup too.
A-Hibiki being top is not just my opinion, it’s common sense
The thing with Hibiki is that she has all the theory behind her, but just few people used to play her at a higher level. That’s why everybody still is like “Hibiki r not teh top … never seen a good one … gets owned by …”.
Actually the “new” Hibiki got some fame lately. You can see her more in vids now, people catch up on her, and if you’ve never seen a good one you will be like “aw shit, did she really just connected that CC from midscreen ? … omg, is that okizeme or lockdown … wtf, she just killed the character with 2 mixups ?!?”.
