What are some good close range combos? What’s the difference between HP and cr.HP?
When is a good time to use <- LP? <-HP? What combos is best for when you teleport behind the enemy?
How to most effective use his ultra: Yoga Catastrophe? (i’ve seen people teleporting behind the enemy right after and comboing, is this because when you teleport behind them at the right time, it makes the enemy faces you so he can’t block the ultra coming in from the other direction?)
Do you prefer to chain yoga fire or yoga flame in your combo?
Is there a time when you would use yoga blast with fierce? it seems too slow to be effective, so should i pretty much always use yoga blast with LP or MP?

Hello I’m a new Dhalsim player. Maybe I will say some mistakes.

[] crouch back MP > back hp > yoga flame mp does a lot of damage, but you need to be very close.
[] cMP > cMP > yoga flame LP
[] cMP > sMK > yoga flame LP.
[] crouch back HP instead of the first cMP works.
[] cHP > cMP > yoga flame LP

If you are in the corner you can do more than that.

[] Since after a ex yoga flame you can juggle with a normal, you can add cancel your move into ex flame and juggle with cHP.
[*] You can also do back HP > ex yoga fire > cMP > flame

If you feel yoga flame LP wont hit, EX flame hits further (but does less damage).

[] Back LP is overhead. If you are close from your opponent, blocking your ultra, and he is crouching, you can break his guard with it.
[] Back HP first hit is cancelable into yoga fire (i think it’s the only normal move that can combo with yoga fire). You can combo back HP after a close cMP as said before.
[*] If you teleport behind and you have a fireball pushing the opponent to you, you can do big combos. If you jump tp, try to use HK or HP to get more damage, then sMK or cMP, yoga flame.

Yoga catastrophe is good to antiair or make you opponent jump. If you get a knockdown, you can use ultra in front, and tp behind. It may break their defense. You can add some hits after your ultra, even a super.
flame does combo anywhere on the screen if you are close enough. Btw if it does not hit you opponent, it has a lot of recover. That’s why when you know flame wont hit, you should fire. Or even better, don’t cancel to stay safe.
Maybe it works a ultra juggle, i am not sure. Btw i never use blast lp, only the ex one.
Never. Dhalsim’s dash and backdash are terrible. You could use it to retreat. Maybe.
