Um…having never seen Virgil before I have to say he actually looks cool. Maybe I should go and actually play the DMC games.
1 and 3 are the best. 2 was meh. Start with 3, then play 1, as 3 is technically a prequel.
Uh…wha? No fucking shit you should. Go buy the DMC4, and the DMC collection for Ps2. Before you get in your car to go home from the game store, take out DMC2 and kick it out into the road. Barf. In DMC3 special edition you can play as Vergil. He’s much cooler than Dante, even if his voice is lame. His attacks are pretty much as cool as I expected/wanted them to be. I can’t stand that Marvel, but damn it I’m going to play it to use Vergil.
Start out with 3? No, don’t do that. 3 will spoil you because its just better overall, especially controls. Also… I mean, who does that? The story of a series is intended to unfold in the order they are released. The whole point of making a prequel is that you’ve established something as an original work for there to be a prequel for.
