Ha! I had that happen the other night, except it made me waste meter. I was hit-confirming claps into super by sound, but the opponent was actually blocking (that weird flinching thing happened once too).
Btw, I hate Elena. I feel like she just steamrolls Hugo. If she didn’t have a dp, it would be a bit better. Since you DON’T use the healing super, then you can hit-confirm from lows, making the mixups much scarier. Otherwise, if she uses the healing super, her lows aren’t too threatening, but then you basically have to kill her twice. lol

- Street Fighter x Tekken announced for PC and as a Wii U launch window title. 360/PC versions will have an exclusive character (like Cole is for PS3/Vita), as will the Wii U version. The characters themselves will not be specified.
- SSF4AE 2012 officially named Super Street Fighter IV Upper (at least in Japan). Adds Hugo and Poison and will still be free for owners of SSF4AE. Demo of new build on show floor, includes Hugo and Poison. Announcement that this is definitely the final version of SF4, as the team is going to start a new project shortly.
- UMvC3: Rest of new characters get reveal trailers. Demo build with every character on show floor.
- Mega Man Legends 3: Announcement that due to fan feedback, development will restart in November.
- Mega Man 6, 7, X2, X3 and Mega Man 64 announced for Wii Virtual Console. Mega Man 2 and 3 (GB), as well as Mega Man 1, 2 and 3 (NES) announced for 3DS Virtual Console.

Astaroth: She doesn’t steamroll him, you just don’t have the parrying down correctly yet against her…you have to play to hear weaknesses which is her stamina…I don’t know why anyone would use Healing with her, you have to completely set it up and that can take awhile…parrying is the big equalizer in this game…and against Necro and Elena you HAVE to know how to parry…

Essentially I look at it this way, there is a very fine line from Chun-Li to Ryu. I think Oro and down are in their own group because they are much harder to use and all have issues of some sorts but everyone will have problems with someone…the best thing is just to learn what to do against it and come back stronger…
I mean, all of my characters I use are pretty terrible…Oro, Elena, and Necro…I find ways to win with them but I find it easier to win with Ken or Hugo (heck even Q) and it’s because the stamina is such a beast in this game…one thing to consider when playing this game…

Also, yo - I had the best customer service experience ever with JackThreads. So I ordered one of the “Dumb Watches” that they have up currently. I received my watch in the mail and the first thing I notice is a rattling noise in the packaging. I take the watch out of the case and a little piece falls out. I pick it up and it’s the pin to the light button. Of course this is an effin bummer as the watch is sick otherwise - slick design, 5 led options for the lights, comfortable leather strap, etc. I can get the pin back in but it’s not held securely - a slight nudge will knock it out of place. They have a return policy, but it’s just for store credit. Really I just want another watch as i love it, I just received a damaged one. But due to the nature of their site, there is no guarantee it will still be available. I emailed customer service and just got an email back today - they are going to fully refund the cost of the watch, including shipping - it should be in my account int 3-5 business days. Luckily, the watch is still up. I went ahead and ordered another one for the same price, so no harm, no foul.
