It’s the fact that having all that shit on the page makes it harder to follow the actual POSTS and it also causes the pages to take longer to load (especially on a mobile device) … If I wanted to see a showcase of your favorite gif’s, I would go look at your flickr account, or a set of links you added to your post … There’s no fucking reason what-so-ever to have 50 animated images on a single page “just because” …
Well it’s called, get Tapatalk as it doesn’t load any of that, you have cable internet so loading is irrelevant at home, and I have mine because those are the characters I play and I think it looks dope.
It’s all a matter of your preference, deactivate sigs if it irks you. I happen to not care.

Your bigger issue is that you care there is moving images when you have the option to not see them as well as having other options to get to the site. It’s not our problem you need to get your SRK crack fix on your phone.
Do you care that there are billboards on the side of every major road? You are forced to see those and can’t do anything about those. So what’s the difference?

The difference is the bill boards have no effect on the speed of your or other passengers cars. Whether you are looking at SRK on a phone or at home all the unnecessary gifs make the site take forever to load. I have no script so I dont see them anyway but it doesn’t change that its foolish to allow it in the first place.
I come to a discussion board for discussion, not to see a bunch of flashy shit all over the place, cluttering the board … Like Duckie said, people actually have useful information in their signatures (whether it be tournaments, items they are selling, etc) … So, no, I’m not turning them off … There’s just no benefit what-so-ever to having images / embedded video in general on the board is all I’m saying …
