GGs though. I still can’t deal with Athena. I still have alot of improving to do in that game overall, too. You’re getting really good though, after playing you wasn’t surprised to hear you got 3rd.
GG’s also to Marcus. Wish we could have played longer. I really need to play more strong, aggressive Kyo players. Like almost every game came to Kyo anchor mirror and you are just better with that character, and I don’t know the match so I got stomped. Good shit with Terry, too… You were doing tons of shit I had no idea existed.
Its really frustrating to like drive an hour and a half to come to shit like that and fight nights and then play for 3 hours and then drive and hour and a half back… But I’ll definitely be making it to more shit this summer, and being able to stay/play more.

SOOOOOO MUCH fun yesterday. GGs to everybody. Everybody must have stopped playing Marvel to let me get 4th lol! I haven’t played that game in a minute but Shuma said, “Let’s take over!” and I reluctantly said ok… Next time I’ll have my own stick as well so hopefully I won’t drop [as many] combos.

@Nashville: Good shit at the tourney yesterday, that was a lot of fun. The casuals throughout the day were awesome and hilarious at the same time. It was great to catch up with everyone: Jason, Richard, Jsparks, Phil, Pat, Chris, Eddie, Andrew, Cale, Lee (which good stuff in SC - that was entertaining), Little Josh, etc.

I’d say I did okay in the tournament, but I feel I gave away too many rounds which ultimately resulted in my exit. That’s okay, walked away learning something. Big shoutout to Josh for sitting down and playing 10 games or so after the tournament and giving me tips on Rufus - time to start applying. Also, GGs to Eddie at JFord’s - that Guy matchup is fun.

I’m going on these same guidelines, it was a great event and the tournaments were ran very quickly and well and should be an example to all tournaments everywhere.

Yesterday was a great time. Shotouts to Jason, Richard, Chris, and company for running such a fast tournament. I felt like my heart was still pumping from the last match when I’d be called back to the station to play again.
Thanks to Jacob for the hospitality and the delicious iced water. I was so damn thirsty.
Stephen - Hell yeah, I’ll be making the trip for MBB (with my Memphis Tigers pillow in case I need a nap). Good games and good catching up!
Anthony- Scissor kicks, orbs, and now Tiger shots… I don’t know what I’ll be Blanka balling into next, but I look forward to the challenge.
Adrian- Lets say I take my laptop, throw it into the air, and hit it with a baseball bat by accident. Will my black tie protection cover that?
Dax - That 10min Gouken was a thing to behold. It really sucks that you got called into an 8am shift like that. It was very unprofessional of them.
Marcus - Next time I see you, I can show you a few throws and trips from that lock-up position we got at the mall. Aside from knees and inside punches, there are three or four good throws I can do from there.
Great seeing the rest of the Memphis guys: Kinetic with the legit hitbox skills, congrats to Tim on taking Street Fighter, Melvin with his quiet demeanor.
Sara: I’ll definitely contact you about that converter. I tried using a 360 pad later that night after the tourney and it was a terrible experience!
Nashville: Always great being around such a friendly group. Lee, Pat, Chris, Phil, Cale, Eddie, and everyone else. Looking forward to playing you guys more often once the summer rolls around.

Good to finally get to play you then get my butt kicked lol. Arent any astoroth players in memphis (For that manner arent many SCV players period >_>). And this was my first venture in a tourney with Viola and i got 3rd place, first time ive placed in any game. And dont worry ima keep with this game someone from memphis gotta Dethrone you, and im working on Viola Tech as I type this haha. I mean someone’s gotta be the Viola rep. im surprised she’s not a popular character considering she can take half your life for one BE haha.

And gg’s to all the people i played in tourney and casuals.
This was a great tourney and my best one so far. Won a game in KOF, which i imagined playing justin then someone jumped against Kula… haha. And im still amazed I freakin won 2 games in AE, A game i havent seriously played since final round. This inspires me to pick up AE again. And third place in Soul Calibur V, that’s just wow. Never been even close to a winner’s or losers finals and here i come with a new character ive yet to play in a tourney and handle my business. Lost to shinblade and astaroth but hey those are good people to lose to. So SCV’s gonna be my Number one game for the time being. So much fun was had and cant wait for MBB. Oh and Skullgirls is fun and it’ll be around for awhile so deal with it. haha.
