Guys just a quick update on the tournament:
I’ve just updated the thread and event page on fb regarding the hotel room discounts so please check it out if you plan on reserving a room for that weekend.
and also if you haven’t done so please rsvp on the srk thread to show you are attending as this will attract a larger audience as ppl tend to look at lists like that to see who all is planning on showing. Same goes for MWC.
AAAAAND! Panda just let me know he’s got new commentating equipment that he will be trying out at MBB! Shit just keeps getting better and better.
Still working on locking someone for picture taking and atmosphere capturing and interviews and such. I believe Jan told me he can take pics and Miles said he would capture?
Some thoughts:
- People shouldn’t schedule tournaments on Mother’s Day weekend. I wanna go to RCR but can’t promise anything.

Honestly I don’t think anyone in Memphis is that much better than any other person.
IMO the Memphis tier list (excluding myself) is something like:
A Tier:
Lycan (Sober), Eraser (rose), Kinetik (Bison), Squabbler (cody), Rukus
B Tier:
Josh, Sev (only because he stopped playing), Justin, Abe, Dax, Lycan (Drunk), Eraser (sagat), Jose (by popluar demand even though he doesn’t play AE!)
C Tier:
GDbell, Kinetik (Guile), Flymike (Better than Gabe though), Sunstone
D for Doug Tier:
Doug

Kin: Slow your damn role for a second. You do realize in the span of a week now you have called out pretty much every player in Mem. Guaranteed you will place top 3 in the ranbat season and acted like you are hot fucking shit. You will notice other players who are good, dont go around making their proclamations. Hell look at Woot he wins virtually ALL the SF stuff here and he doesn’t go around spouting this nonsense. And as for how people come across or act you arent a saint. Loosing in games you will yell at the screen smash your hitbox sigh ect. Everyone can come across like an ass at times but hell you will raise your damn voice at people in the middle of a convo. And for calling someone out on needing attention your the one begging for people to “respect your skill in SF and KANG”. I hope you dont respond to Gabe anymore several people have said that before though none of them have followed through. Its true you have done well standings wise for a while good shit to you but your letting it go to your head and I’m not the only one that feels this way
Dream: This isnt just at you cause I have had a similar discussion with many people this week but I dont see why people feel the need to have other people come “defend them”. When it was just me and O trying to get stuff going in Mem you know what we got from the ville. “Oh mem are all crappy people, their tourneys are garbage you guys need to come down here where the real stuff is ect.” You didnt see us begging for people to step in and speak on our behalf. I am not sure why you would feel the need to come in and defend Kin. I mean I didn’t see you, or anyone come to defend Doug or Jas when they were arguing. But if Gabe is involved, even if he hasn’t posted at Nashville, somehow Nashville ends up in the discussion. At this point its whatever ,you guys dont like him, cool, he sucks though in SF and life right so why does anyone care what he says just ignore him. Or go after him and call him out, I have never seen him get actually upset at being trolled back go for it. I mean there is a ton of ammo for you to pick on

I only defended Kinetik’s skill as me recognizing him placing well at tourneys as a reason for him to possibly be a top 3 player over there, but he was seeded that way for a reason.
I don’t know Kinetik and don’t have any bad opinions about him at all, he’s a solid player and if he acts arrogant believe me, I am sure everyone acts wacky in some way one time or another…
I actually did post something in regards to Jas (and he saw it) because the only thing to mention was I didn’t think he needed to cancel the tourney over anything, wasn’t really professional…
I am sure people like to be recognized for doing well…heck, Woot likes it as well but he’s not AS prevalent about it but he was at one time, it really just depends…
Kinetik and Squabbler are the two guys that are doing much better than before and they both should be recognized and congratulated for doing well…
Sev, I’ll just stay out of things more, lol…I just thought that it would be neat to know we DID recognize the skill of the Memphis players when we did the overall seeding for TN Dolls…5 Kinetik, 6 Phil, 7 Sparks, 8 Squabbler were the “actual” seeds we had but Phil lost to Squab in the tourney…that’s the only reason I defended Kinetik…

Sev is right I have been hypocritical, calling ppl out for no reason, taking this video game shit way too seriously and adding fuel to the fire of the recent drama we’ve had anyway. So yeah let’s do the friendly MMs but just leave it at that and realize it’s just games and since no one in this thread (except Dream, lol) is making a living off this it’s not really that important. So I this is my apology for allowing myself to be trolled again for how I’ve acted/posted and I’ll drop it.
