For what it is worth I had this same conversation last weekend when I was seeding the players for TN Dolls, the question was who to seed 1-6 and I had Josh, Woot, Chris, and Patrick as the overall top 4 (in that order) and the question to seed the overall #2 player from Memphis who had come with them was debated on between Squabbler and Kinetik. Eraser was going to be below them strictly because he hadn’t been as consistent (and with a character change) as Kinetik and Squabbler as of late but I seeded Kinetik right on the 5 line overall based on him being consistent (and he placed #2 at one of our tourneys a little while back and that was with a pad).
I mean, Cylus doesn’t play anymore…can’t really use him, if you used him you should use me in every conversation when I play against everyone or something…
Fact of the matter is that Kinetik is a solid player there and I don’t see him below the #3 line…and that would be behind Woot, Eraser(Rose)
I don’t know who wins between him and Squabbler more but just for our tournament we seeded him ahead of Squabbler and Eraser
I don’t want to shit on any particular player. I know a lot of us play seriously/competitively or whatever but it has more to do with the fact that it’s Gabe, and you don’t know anything and you’re not even really a part of the scene trying to start shit as always saying a bunch of stuff that’s not even true. I think on a good day Squabb, Eraser, Sev etc. could beat me consistently or otherwise. Woot always beats me, that’s irrelevant. It’s just that its coming from you, Gabe.
At the end of the day it’s just video games. I overreacted in my post, sorry, but you’re really worthless as far as I’m concerned. I didn’t say it was going to get better in the next 2 yrs, lol. I gotta give the man some kind of hope Jeremy. I had an easy solution for when Stephanie was a baby. She slept with us. It was a win/win situation. Josh slept in his own bed fine but when he learned how to climb out of it around 18 months that was the end of him going to sleep peacefully alone for awhile. He never wanted to sleep because he wanted to get up constantly and play. The good news is by age 4 he was good to go and slept fine and by that age Stephanie was sleeping in her own bed too. It may take 4 yrs but it will get better Jason. Nap when she sleeps. Even if it is the middle of the day sometimes. I have told you this since day one.

Also, how has Gabe been trolling Nashville for FOUR YEARS? Console vanilla SF4 didn’t come out til Feb 2009. Gabe didn’t join SRK til we were at Hastings…that’s like six plus months after I started fight nights at Powerplay. Gabe has been around a bit over three years. TOPS. Unless Gabe has magical timetraveling trolling powers I think we are not seeing this timeframe correctly. Just saying.

Either way, I take this as an internet forum. Its a way for people to be themselves or not be. It’s the internet. We take these games “seriously” when it benifits us, and then we dont take it serious after certain events. It all depends on the person. The real thing is, it’s still an interent forum/thread and some people are just too worried about their “status” per say.
Some fun and shit talk is in good spirits, and some of it can get people heated. I just think it all depends on the person honestly, and the relationships they carry throughout said scene with other players.
Now - things that happen in REAL life that screw people over is something entirely different. <— things like that should never be taken lightely and people should be banned from the entire FGC, not just a silly thread. - IMO

I’ll say this when you guys leave MBB I’m almost sure you guys will see Gabe in a new light he’s really a solid guy. This is coming from a guy who really could not stand him a first I think Kin will come around too. Gabe gives Kin more shit simply because he’s fairly new to the scene here plus he keeps giving Gabe a reaction. Though it’s like Orel said Woot and Eraser are tops in AE here everything else is a toss up I have no doubt that in a 2 out of 3 I could beat anyone here or they could beat me we’re really that close.
Just clarify I didn’t beat Orel in MM he bet me 20 I couldn’t beat this new guy in a FT5. I’ll say this he ain’t half bad he just made a lot mistakes like getting punished for free for doing Ryu sweep’s on block all day.
