There are still problems in our society involving racism including, as you pointed out, cops which are a HUGE problem.
Playing devils advocate, a social scientist would argue that part of the reason cops are complete fucking cowardly racist fucks is because the #1 cause of gun violence and gun death is still gang-related. Itās still black on black crime that leads these numbers. But I honestly donāt give a shit. Most cops donāt get killed in gun violence, they are institutionally scared of black people and shoot black people more than white. Period.
Then you get into the video I posted which shows how white people are jailed far less than black people despite MORE white people doing and dealing drugs compared to black people. I would say socioeconomics play a role here too. Rich white guys selling pills are less likely to get caught than people in the hood selling weed. Itās fucked up and needs to end either way.
I hate cops. They need to be completely retrained, in general Iāve had two run ins with them, one my fault the other not my fault. If I were black Iād be dead now Twice. Cops are scum. They all need retrained they need held ACCOUNTABLE when they fuck up. This is why Black Lives Matter exists and was formed, and rightfully so. We are in full agreement here.
But itās not just race issues. Itās the senseless war on drugs, itās the fact non-violent offenders donāt need to be filling our jails of any color. There are lots of issues with the country not all of them race related and I feel people are ignoring those. Thatās why I brought up the point like. Endless war. Endless inflation. Autism through the room. Cancer through the roof. Beeās dying off. Mass extinction of species. Thereās a lot of fucking problems, the KKK aināt one of them theyāre garbage with no power theyāre fat dumb losers. Get my point? That doesnāt mean race issues are irrelevant of course not.
Re: mortgages and stuff like that. It reminds me of womenās unequal pay with men. Again playing devils advocate there are reasons to explain this beyond some deep instilled hatred of women or whatever, but at the same time itās something that needs to be addressed and fixed anyways. And it is.
Thereās a big difference from talking real issues than saying āOMG EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE IS RACIST KILL WHITEYā which Iām not saying you were doing but people do that and thatās called race baiting. Thatās not the answer. Weāve come a long fucking way, you can focus on the horrible aspects of the past or the good that has come out of it like Civil Rights, focus on the 50ās or you can focus on the 60ās, 70ās, 80ās to today. Weāve come a long way and thereās still some ways to go, but thereās no reason to feel like you live in some hate filled racist world if you live in Western Civilization in the 2000ās as itās simply not true. Itās not black and white. And on some level itās just dumb assholes. Thereās nothing I can do about being called āfaggotā except stop taking showers smelling good and being attractive and fit. Iād rather be myself and called faggot or pretty boy every now and again than change to fit in with jealous losers.
Alot of your regular day to day hate, be it race hate or just hate, it all comes from a place of jealousy. My parents have a really nice house in a really nice neighborhood in what is otherwise one of the poorest parts of Appalachia, PA, and the country. Growing up middle class I got to see both sides. The poor kids perspectives and the rich kids perspectives. The poorer you are the less educated and the dumber and thatās when the racist stuff comes out. Thatās why trailer courts are full of racists and ghettos probably are too, just against whites. Both groups need helped, but itās the system itself that creates these problems. Itās because weāve gotten away from free market + social programs and now have chrony-capitalism + social programs that are designed for dependence instead of being a spring board. It also doesnāt help we have a pathetic minimum wage and the list goes on vote ParryAll president 2037.
