A recent study in the Journal of Real Estate and Finance Economics finds that black home loan borrowers are charged higher interest rates than their white counterparts—and that black women pay the highest rates of all.
The three finance professors who authored the study analyzed the mortgages and demographic characteristics of more than 3,500 households during the height of the housing boom—2001, 2004, and 2007—using the Federal Reserve’s triennial Survey of Consumer Finances. They found that on average, black borrowers were charged between 0.29 and 0.31 percentage points more in interest than whites, even after controlling for their debt and credit history.
Ok?
And I know you’re not going to read that. You don’t read anything. You’re a millenial moron
I don’t care about your “anti-SJW” crusade you seem to be on, but I found this funny. Is there a striking lack of irony in fanaticism? Yes, yes there is. Like I said, I’m not here to debate your beliefs, that’s a silly game. You want to prove you are right by debating others on your topics. Be confident in your own beliefs, don’t validate them by trying to insight discussion with others, especially in the aggressive way you seem to. I’m not saying discussion isn’t healthy, it is. However, you don’t seem to want to discuss, you want to insight points then prove you are right about those points. That’s not discussion, that’s preaching. Discussion is a free exchange of ideas that move a topic forward. In all your ranting about how people just attack you, you fail to see that you aren’t invoking discussion at all. Both with the way you handle conversation (I noticed this previously with your “R Mikas butt is the end of video game freedom as we know it” thread and this one) as well as handle your points. As a student of people, I find it interesting. Maybe you are an intelligent person, maybe you aren’t. I don’t know, nor do I really care. What I do know is that each time you post something (almost always around the topic of “SJWs”) it comes off as overtly aggressive. Your approach to open discussion is severely lacking, which is why most people probably default to not engaging the topic. Not because they can’t but because it feels like an exercise in futility because you don’t want to discuss, you want to be right.
I knew you’d be back. You one of those silly fuckers who likes to say shit like “im done” “im outta here” so on and so fourth but you’re actually full of shit and cant help but come back to the thing you claimed to be done with. Predictable as fuck.
I dont see what that post has do with anything we are talking about, i never said racism wasnt a thing or sexism wasnt a thing. Its shitty of them to charge minorites and women more simply because they are minorities and women.
Im not a millenial by the way. Im 30 years old, far too old to be a millenial. But keep making baseless assumptions about me, its doing you wonders, and by wonders i mean continuing to show what a fucking dumb ass you are.
I have a history with this place. Back when I posted ok we didn’t look down on intellectuals in fact that was the measuring stick. Anything you said was analyzed and picked apart and rightfully so it helps improve your argument and get you closer to the truth.
But my point is I have a history with and love for this place. Something you wouldn’t understand and don’t respect. No I didn’t write 20,000 posts per day like that beetle guy, but that’s because each of my posts actually had heart and care for whatever the thing was at the time worth caring about.
Shit posting like what you guys do, that’s what we frowned upon. Stupidity. Nobody cares about your feelings and while we may come off strong to one another it wasn’t from a place of disrespect but a place of respect for those who earned that.
I’m not going to bow down to your shit level. I feel like Goku in a room full of Krillins. It never used to be like this.
People need to be inspired someone to wear their intellectualism on their sleeve, by all means. Not the other way around. That’s what you guys do I see it all the time. This is literally Idiocracy come true.
This place has degraded into hate and just dumb as fuck ‘bro’ stuff. Whatever man I guess I’ll just always remember this place for how good it once was. Maybe it’ll get a revival sometime but as of now it’s a complete internet ghetto.
Let me explain something to you dumb ass. No one gives a flying fuck about your hostory with SRK. No one cares. Keep crying because no one gives a shit about you.
I am agreeing with what angeryliberal is saying: you came into this forum and made a thread to reaffirm your opinions, rather than have an actual discussion.
One guy had a small debate with me. That was it. No one ever commented on anything I said. It’s just, out there, sitting. You’re not commenting on it either, you’re smelling your own farts “the post”.
I’m not on a fucking crusade I don’t care. I posted some thoughts. When I post thoughts, I put care into them, like if that’s uhh “confident, intimidating” style that’s your hangup not mine.
Like I said. I really just posted some videos, some thoughts, and nobody said anything about it. All I got was insults and dated micheal jackson gifs and the like.
This alpha male is now a theta male. I’m trans binary animal pluto. Make me a bathroom. I am part of a group of losers who smell and don’t get laid. I aspire to nothing. I am part of the SRK collective now oohhh yes feels so wonderful on my virgin body.
Circling back to the video, I don’t think Paul Watson is on point at all.
For starters, there’s no real link between the “daycare state” problem that Laura Perrins (that’s the article that Paul brings up) talks about and “SJWs”. SJWs did not exclusively go to daycare, and daycares did not exclusively cater to SJWs. Other than conveniently trying to explain a behavior, there’s nothing linking these together at all. The only real connection is that some people are protesting (which, protests have literally been around since the dawn of civilization), and that not getting enough parental attention might lead to development issues later in life (which, duh). Laura even states in her article (referring to the Yale Halloween Protests) that “Now, I don’t know if these individual students endured serious daycare time, but I do know that in April 2001, in the US the National Institute of Child Health and Development released findings showing a link between long hours of non-maternal care for young children and aggressive behavior.” So her point (and the point Paul Watson is echoing) isn’t really valid. This would be like linking to a study that shows that violent videogames can cause aggressive behavior, and then blaming violent videogames for the uptick of violence in Chicago today.
As for Paul, simply taking clips out of the worst of rights/protest groups, and using that clip without context to represent literally everyone who associates with that group while lobbing insults their way is adding nothing to the discussion. It’s just one big straw man argument, and isn’t something to take seriously. Maybe Paul should actually try addressing some of the issues. Are there “feminists” that take things too far? Are there SJW’s that take things too far? Sure. But instead of addressing these issues and making an actual attempt at dialogue, Paul simply tries to crack a few jokes and lob some insults. Personally, I think he fails in humor, and fails in making any real point.
Here “angry” liberal. I’ll be a soft, loving, beta male of soft goo. I can talk slow too. And be loving. I love all.
What would you like to discuss my liberal master? Now that I’ve changed my fascade from that nasty, “mean”, “loud”, and “aggressive and intimidating” form that actually got pussy unlike you.
It’s ok I’m no longer a threat. Let’s talk Bernie Sanders yeah umm you like that yeah mmm feel that soft bernie sanders.
“everythings allright. I am going to win my potties nomination. Together we will make socialism great again”
