Yeah you can’t take FADC his fierce DP, because it does like 30 more than EX shoryuken now and goes far as fuck, and is more invincible. Ryu overall feels nicely buffed to me. I dig it. I love playing that character.
I’m happy Gen now has a way to combo into ultra’s that doesn’t require a gimmicky set up. Granted it still cost three bars and is execution heavy but its better than nothing. Ryu getting his cMK back seems like it makes sense for him though it can be a bitch to deal with.

But I think he was talking about in reference to Takuma’s alt costume set being his Mr. Karate persona, and then there being an actual Mr. Karate on the way as DLC with his own moveset. This is the only DLC chara they gave a different stance to as well.
