This is just passing curiosity.
I’d like to know what characters (if any) had new character designs for this game. I don’t mean someone like Sakura who got a new move and bowing animation for when she fights Athena, but I mean characters who were pretty much designed from scratch.
generic shotos got an updated look; ryu, ken, akuma
chun got her 3s look
yuns new. i think anyway… cvs2 yun came before yun was introduced to a3 right?

if you mean going from cvs1 to cvs2, then that would only be the new characters, minus rolento, plus chunli:
