New option select that takes advantage of the fuzzy red parry has been found in Japan. Saw MOV practicing it last night. Just wanted to share it here.
What happens is in the middle of a block string/sequence you suddenly do a red parry and then do an MK or MP depending on your character’s moveset and then go for option select throw/combo.
Precision and execution is needed. This is a very strong technique but practice is definitely needed to master it. Not everyone will understand this technique and if it doesn’t work for you, that’s because this is really high level skill in 2015 Japan 3s.
