New San Francisco game lounge opening soon!

Yo!

We’re opening up a pretty cool venue in the SoMa district, near the Zynga and Sega offices, this month!

During the day it will function as a video gaming lounge, where you can mash on Street Fighter/Marvel/other fighting games, as well as more casual games like CoD and GTA.

We have about 15 setups each with a large monitor and PC, lots of seating, 3 large projectors, dynamic club lighting, a ridiculous sound system, and a kitchen for snacks and drinks.
Our capacity is 499, and our square footage is 6,300. We also have an upstairs section with some more private areas.

San Francisco has been without a hub for gamers for some time now, ever since the closing of SouthTown Arcade last year. We want to bring gaming events back to SF by supporting not only casual players, but competitive tournament scenes. We plan on having weekly ranbats, and other special events frequently.

…and we have ample parking!

We’re hoping to have an opening reception as early as next week, with a Street Fighter 4/Marvel 3/etc. tournament, casual play, live DJs, and more.

Community is important to us, and we would love to hear any of your ideas and feedback. We are also available for private events, meetings, galleries, whatever!

We are still working on the website and branding for the gaming aspect of our business, but you can check out the place itself at the links below — still somewhat under construction, so pardon us.

See you soon!

Siiiiiiiick

Haven’t played any games in a couple years but was looking to get back into it and came on here looking to see if there’s anything going on in SF. Really excited to see this.

I almost cried seeing this. Sooo happy.
Are you willing to put the set up for some old games like ST?

Was traveling during the event, but am curious: Is anything going on on a regular basis? Casuals, etc? This place is fantastically close to my house and after stopping by CTF during my trip to NYC this week, I’m psyched to play some more people in real life.
