I never played the last one, but from the Japanese reviews they’ve said that it played like a “poor mans soul calibur game”, so that’s not good it seems. The only 3d Samurai Showdown game I liked was the one from hyper neogeo 64, which was similar to the 2d ones. However, from my early comment, if SNK goes that route, I’m just dropping to series.
Shin kohime fighter is kinda like what i expect the evolution samurai showdown be. As far as gameplay goes. Its theme is anime moe centric thankfully its not fan service. While it sporys assist. Their subtly use and so the game more footsie driven then it appears.
Ss after 2 were bit tooa ambitioise. While ss5sp is great game, it was bit execution intensive for my tast and bit too much mechanics imo.

It’s only natural for snk to start developing with the heavy hitters, next should be metal slug. I really want them to finish garou2 though with new sprites or old I don’t care just finish it.
