HOW TO BUY TICKETS:
If you are interested in coming. You must PM me or email me at **vince.hui@pownz.com **with your email address. Once I have received it, on Saturday morning (early morning) you will be sent an e-ticket. Once you have received this bring it with you to the venue and we will collect it and you will pay at the door.

Also, what if I just want to pay at the door? I don’t know if I can attend as yet and if I do it’d literally be a last minute decision. Is participation ruled out in that circumstance?
Nagata: I’ll be quite straight forward with you and tell you straight up that, i’m not in complete control of how things are being run with this.
Basically. There are two tournaments because the sponsor has asked us to pull it out to two days. I guess from their point of view they need to make the best use of their space for the 2 days. They were originally going to run Halo as well but due to the fact that there are 2 other MAJOR Halo events going on it was cancelled (MLG, We Got Game: who has a major prize on the line). Also I think this works out a little better since sometimes people can’t show up on one of the two days. So everyone kind of gets a shot at something. Also I am trying to find out if we can’t run other side tournaments like Tekken 6 since I will have lots of free stations.
Also about your participation. What you can do is send me your email. I will put you down to get an e-ticket. If you can’t show. You didnt’ lose anything. Since you’d basically pay at the door anyways just you need the e-ticket as well.
Also, it’s arcade character only since I myself only OWN one hard drive with unlocked characters. Playgrounds doesnt’ have hard drives with unlocked characters for 8 systems. It’s unfortunate but there was no way to guarentee 8 Hard drives would be available at such notice. I dont’ want to make any false promises to people.
So as far as entry into the tourney if I pay saturday I get into the tourney then if I show up sunday I pay again but this time for a different round of the poker tourney?
I think you can copy a profile with the save file to each hard drive, however who wants to have their profile on some companies xboxes and not know where they will go when it is all said and done. On top of the fact that you can’t unplug an xbox hard drive while the thing is on. Also, as stated previously we’re doing arcade characters only due to the fact that there just isn’t enough time to ensure that everything is unlocked on every system in time for Saturday. It’s more of a logistics thing. Also, I have no access to any of those systems anyways since they belong to Playgrounds.
I’m not here to pass judgement since I won’t be there. I’m just curious: Akuma is technically an Arcade character and to unlock him you pretty much need everyone else unlocked. Sooo…won’t everyone but gouken and Seth be unlocked already anyway?
Good point. Like I said though. Unfortunately this is what playgrounds has. If people who are coming can bring hard drives. I mean atleast 4-5 then I have no problem changing it to include all characters at the last minute. However I do not want to announce something I can not back up.
Basically, I don’t want to promise you guys something Playgrounds or myself can not deliver on. I’d rather lay it all out and let you guys decide. It’s just a common courtesy
changed this rule vince this happen at playgrounds in sauga but everyone bought enough harddrives for the tourney to run all chars in tourney so this is only a minor problem.
If i can find 4-6 people who can commit to bringing hard drives. I will lift the rule. The rule is in place because i cant guarentee the availability of it.
