i just played a2 on this and man! it was on-par with ggpo
I felt a slight difference, but i play A2 everyday. Damdai gets props.
Sup guys I need to know how to I change my audio options to 11025z because when I go to the options menu the option to change it are grayed out and wont let me choose. Other people have the same problem so any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
C:\Documents and Settings(your name)\Application Data\Damdai\2DF\FreePlay (you must enable viewing of hidden folders/files first)
In the “Freeplay” folder, there should be a “freeplay_emu” executable. Double-click on it. (If there’s a “Replay not found” message popped up, don’t click on OK; just ignore it). Then you should be able to go to the “Audio” menu to make adjustment there.

Punisher: You need the AES and MVS bios to run SS5SP. nFBA has some sort of problem with the arcade version so it runs the Neo console version instead.
Anyone that can help I have a question, instead of changing the audio to 11025z to make games run smoother, what if I just disable the sound in the same audio options would that make it run even better??
Anything less that the cpu has to do, the better the performance will be. Whether or not that perfomance difference is noticeable is another story.
ok thanks also I tryed 11025z and it made a huge difference for the better while playing online today, so i’ll probably just disable audio altogether tomorrow and hope for the best.
Does Triple Buffering improve gamespeed or makes it more CPU intensive/worse?
It makes the game smoother though, right?
Just posting to give my props to damdai. It took me a while to get everything to work, but I just played a set of Alpha 2 against someone in Brazil (bit more than 200 ping) and it was extremely smooth.

This is pretty damn fantastic. Many thanks to you damdai for this. I do have one suggestion. How about adding some beat’em up games like Cadilacs and Dinosaurs, Punisher, etc and maybe some games like Metal Slug? I saw you got Puzzle Fighter so this might also add some variety.

Being able to play so many people in so many games conveniently between this and GGPO shows me how much I suck outside the few games I play. Really enjoying the games!
I can’t log in today for some reason. I’ve tried a few times and it’s given me a couple different error messages. Here’s one:
“The communication object, System.ServiceModel.Channels.ServiceChannel, cannot be used for communication because it has been Aborted.”
Edit: And now I can log in. Nevermind!
