Im not sure, but it seems sometimes Im getting disconnected from the server while playing, especially during long sets. This might be related to at least some of the times that the replays dont save. Particularly sucks though cause the long sets are the good ones…
There might be a separate reason for them not saving, which is if you quit too early or something.

Some questions:
Can you make customizable macro buttons?
I play mostly KOF98 or 3S, but the main reason why I play 2DF is KOF98
I know there is a macro for ABC, but can you make one for AB and CD?
The reason why I ask this is because some laptops don’t allow 3 button presses, so I can’t back roll (Back + AB) but I can do normal roll (AB)
Also, is there any way to smooth up gameplay?
It’s still pretty choppy for me.
Not as bad as GGPO, but it’s still not as smooth as P2P nfba (I don’t know why)
Is there any settings to fix up speed and smoothness of the game?
I have 2 gigs of RAM on Windows XP Pro, 1.7ghz, on a cable modem.

dude, I had my computer reformatted (GGPO and 2DF were one of the reasons) and I had to reinstall so much stuff last night.
Theres a tutorial on how to add custom button macros in the 2df forums.
As for gameplay, it can vary greatly depending on who you’re playing. If the connection between you and your opponent is high latency, it’s impossible to provide smooth gameplay. Smoothing is automatically calculated based on your ping to your opponent. I will look into adding a setting for additional smoothing, which may help in some cases.

I played some old school Hyper Fighting with a couple people today and finished the game in one player mode while I was waiting for a match. I almost cried tears of joy from the memories.

No one else is having problems connecting, so I can only assume it’s something on your end.

That is correct. You do not need to forward any ports to connect. If you don’t have 27886 open, you will get a warning message that you will be unable to challenge, but you can still get in.
