Churned butter was the result of me not knowing matchups and not knowing how to stop spotty pressure. I wasn’t using Hawk’s jab dp as an anti-air when they expected the 360 either. I wouldn’t walk up 360 because I didn’t know the max range, and missing it once against Chris in the tournament got me punished hard.
I started using the jabs towards the end of the night against Zack. They were working great.

Finally got a reliable car to move around in! So excited! Just dropping a few bones on it so I wont have to worry about doing any general maintenance on it for the rest of the year. Car is in great shape and the engine is in top tier condition. All I got to do is get some new tires and brake pads and a fuel pump,all which I can change myself and next month ill be hitting the streets with my latest toy. 300zx baybeee! Riding like a boss! Now that I have my car situation taken care of its only a matter of time before I take my ass back to miami.

I really hope Latif loses Devastation. I am so sick of Viper winning. Such a cheap character, and boring to watch.
I don’t really have a problem with Viper outside of her Ultra damage. She just plays like a Guilty Gear character that got ported to SF so you have to play against her completely differently than anyone else.
Also, I still think Wolfkrone is a more solid/smarter Viper player despite placing lower than Latif at Evo.
So I have a MK question for all the knowledgeable people in here. I am looking at the devastation results and a Sonya came in 4th and 2nd and 3rd were two kitana players and only 1 raiden in the top 8. Have all the patch changes made that big a difference?
Kitana has always been a bitch…Sonya was broken at one point with a dive kick loop. Raiden is still a badass even being nerfed.
I dunno man, Latif has consistently beaten everyone that Krone doesn’t, and places as high and higher every time. Solid/smart play doesn’t matter as much with Viper as much as good reactions, execution and maximizing your crazy damage. Even then, Latif plays every bit as smart.
Sonya and Kitana have always been good. People just don’t like to play the girl characters, I guess.
Raiden is still beastly, even after all the nerfs.

So the guys that still want to get better in our scene…we need to have a gathering for the guys not going to Season’s Beatings…strictly meaning the 3 guys from Smyrna area and Josh/David…without new blood the scene is going to hit a ceiling unless we can get these guys up to the levels of everyone else…when do you guys want to set this up?
