well,
I do have a little something to say here since you keep saying “Memphis” like it’s absolutely everyone and you keep saying “Everyone else” like you speak for everyone saying they “dislike Memphis.” Just some advice Duck… when you say EVERYONE ELSE, you should refer to it as, “PERSONALLY IMO”… or… " this is my personal opinion." You know, something along those lines. Unless I missed something here and you speak for everyone? Again, just some advice!
Damn CS was my shit back in the day. I think my buddy got me into it when we were in like 6th-8th grade, can’t wait for Global Offensive!

It’s on the Xbox Live indie marketplace for only $1 and plays surprisingly well online.
Another random post concerning AE.
I’ve never liked how SF4 handled Gief’s and Hawk’s command grabs. Why would a command grab push you far away from the opponent afterwards? The positioning is just awkward. That’s not being rewarded for successfully grabbing them imo. It should leave you closer to continue the mixups. This seems to help Hakan though, giving him time to oil up and slide-n-poke his way back in.
It would be pretty stupid for a lot of characters if they get grabbed once and then get crossup splash 50/50’d over and over until they’re dead… That’s just not fun. That’s why you have to use the weak Hawk throw to get that opportunity. You choose between taking a big chunk of damage and letting them go, or taking a smaller amount in hopes that you can get more with a successful mixup afterward. Gief gets a mixup/pressure opportunity too after green handing next to the opponent following SPD. It’s just not as “free” a mixup situation as if he got the body splash everytime.
Never thought it was that difficult to get back in with T.Hawk, but it’s been forever since I played him. I’m under the impression that command grabs are there mainly to scare an opponent, to break an otherwise good defense. I know as Abel I want to force my opponent to try to avoid TT, because if I predict their avoidance, I can punish it for more damage than a TT would have done. Plus, some of his punishes lead right back into the guessing game.
