event was a lil disappointing considering we drove from bristol PA to NY to wait in line for 2-3 hours and not be able to play ssf4.
but was awesome to meet the players, take some pics, get a few games in, party afterwards, and get at least a preview of ssf4.

Forgot to say meeting the people was the best part. I was the bored dude in the line that made random line references like Come on Seth, part this line like Moses and Magnus This Shit Down and other random stuff. I’m terrible with words, ie: names, but I remember you guys. Iirc Shawn, Ben (not networkingyuppy), and the other guys that waited with us.
I give credit to Capcom for trying but I could have negotiated a room for them that can fit 600+ people and not under 100 (basement had way under 100 imo). Not to mention they could have at least linked video output to additional sources so people on the first floor could watch since the basement was so packed.

Though I spent taking pictures more than playing SFIV, it was great. Me and my boys got there on time and left with a goody bag. I regret not bringing a video camera.

Great event guys! Kind of salty because I didn’t see anyone giving out swag bags, but saw people with them. Wanted to give one away on the site. That pizza was CRACK, but being a dj/producer I couldn’t help but notice the DJ trainwrecking almost every transition.

i was there before 8. earlier or not, my only beef was how they stop letting people in all together about a hour and a half into the event. i literally stopped back in at 10:30 or so, and was answered “yeah we aren’t letting anyone in” when there was obvious room in the venue.

Cramped space issues aside and only getting to see Dee Jay’s head, I had a good time and was fed and gifted (always goes a long way with me). Good job Capcom, I look forward to the future events that may be in store.
trust me. i was there from inside from 7:30 (we were about 50th-100th in line) to 11, trust me… there was no room in the venue. it was like a skateboarding clothing store that’s capacity was prolly 200, but def had more than that in it.
plus yea… there was a huge-ass line all the way since 6:30
