Seriously. It’s undeniable at this point.
How does Viper play like CapCom at all? No flaming projectile, no dan kick, no reliable anti air special move, no special assist attack.
If anything I think she would be a little bit of Venom and something original.
Edit: Yep I wasn’t denying it being her, it was just that first pic you used looked fake.
Do you research. That’s Viper’s original art when she was first revealed back in February of 2008 when the game was still in development.
Besides, the point still stands. The silhouettes for both match meaning that we can confirm her being in the same way we could confirm Dormammu, Super Skrull and Viewtiful Joe a month before E3 thanks to their silhouettes.
They share alot of moves and normal animations.

Also the gloves, glasses and the fact that Viper’s 2nd alt also has a star badge similar to CapCom. While there are some differences, the similarities are enough that people have been picking up on this since the game came out in the arcade. Story-wise, we can pretty much say that Viper’s gear is a precursor to CapCom’s (since the game he’s from is also part of the shared SF/FF universe).

This is NOT my work. This was sent to me via PM. Just leaving it here for discussion. I, personally, think its far fetched. Every tease-silhouette has used existing artwork. It is not shaped like the MvC3 official artwork. After the big reveal at a trade show, then we see the silhouette change to match the mvc3 official art.
This “unknown” silhouette does not look like any gambit art I can find.

Don’t see how Captain Corridor equals seismo. Seismo’s an earth projectile while Corridor is an electric anti-air. Burning kick is used for air leverage, cross ups, ultra set ups, and for anti throw. Captain kick functions like a better version of dan’s air kick.
I just creamed my pants… While it’s deffinately not enough to say for deffinate, it usre looks like it could be him…

HobGoblin possibly? Its the same kinda hood and HobGoblin has a cape as well, but I can’t imagine they’d use him over Green Goblin…
I think that’s a third silhouette for Dr. Doom. Super Skrull has three silhouettes, I’m pretty sure Chun-Li and Trish too - and the three were revealed with Doom.
Seismo is an SF-ized version of Capt. Collider. It would be broken if it covered the whole screen. EX Burning Kick on the ground works exactly like Captain Kick.

Please dont be crimson viper, plus it does seem odd for capcom to put a new silhoutte in the worst possible spot. So im still skeptic.

I knew it was too good to be true…
The only evidence I have against Viper is that characters are presented in pairs. If that was Viper, and if we didn’t mistake anyone on that picture and there’s no one hidden on the blind spots, we would have 9 Capcom characters and 7 Marvel characters. Doesn’t match.
