Just messing around in online training and discovered this. Went to training offline to confirm. With all the ‘useless Mind Stone’ talk, figured this could be a big deal. GUARANTEED RED LIFE REMOVAL, if you can set up a command grab with the Mind Stone.

I think it’s easier to hit a grab than a mind surge to begin with. Im kinda surprised that mind surge itself doesn’t remove red life.
Well, it’s just a throw mixup really. If this was UMvC3 I’d say this was viable but tech throws push you so far apart in this game the next situation you’re in for a throw could be any time, not enough to condition the player to expect a throw and fall for a mind surge. Decent idea tho, I had a few ideas my self but they fell through.
If they read a throw and go for a break wouldn’t they just grab you out of mind stone start up?
