a good 3 years ago I played in the tournaments at the time. I was scrubtastic at most. The first tournament I entered had 9 People 4 were from cali Pi was there and jeff was too. The rest were Locals that had been winning since before I had been there. First tourney I lost to a guy from cali. Big whoop 25 bucks. Second place. I played rowtron at the time. After that I won every single tournament leading up to x-topia. Most of the regular MvC2 players at the time turned in to CvS2 players or were never to be seen again plus I stopped coming up to ABQ and there is absolutely no competition for MvC2 in Santa Wey. That summer I moved to back home to the LC and met rowjoe. At the time I didnt have a stick but I did have it on DC. He showed me all there was to show about infinites crossovers and the most valuable thing he ever taught me was how to block. So see I do have some skills but after 3 years of playing and not getting noticed I had to put myself out there and make myself known. I know actions speak louder than words and I have every intention to deliver. YOU BETTA BELIEVE DAT! Anyone down for a tournament Next month If I can get some shit together? i was gonna quote but i forgot anyways i didnt place at frx seeing as i went up against some of nations best like demon hyo but i did get farther than expected. i didnt go to place i went to have a good time and meet people that i talk to on here regularly. did it cost money? not really i lived thirty minutes away and all i had to do was get a room for one night. did i make that money back yeah i sure did. but um i never hit you up to play marvel you hit me up askin for casuals i just said yeah cuz i didnt have shit else to do. and just to recall the ones we went low tier were close not favorable in anyones area. i beat you those times i told you with high tier teams vs your high tier teams. and you have still yet to beat my santhrax which is utter garbage but i can improvise. and to be honest the people i have a problem against from new mexico are luis and brett. brett because hes actually good at what he does and is patient and luis because he knows how to trap properly with the characters he uses. but we could go on and on bout this with no end but i could easily just shut you up next time i see you. :tup: :wgrin: and it aint even bout the money more like me just showing pi and jeff whats new and how to deal.

Runaway Storm does beat Cable. He can go for cross-ups, a s. or sj. RH (which probably has to be lucky or just timed really well), really well-placed grenades, punish a whiffed move, etc. but really he doesn’t have too many great options. Runaway Storm definitely controls that match. You need Commando or Sent-A or something to help you out and even then Storm is still lethal, especially since she’ll probably have Sent behind her. DHC of death. :sad:
I’ve seen some good Cables deal with her, but it’s a rough matchup for him. Either character will probably just need one hit to take out the other, but it’s not in Cable’s favor to do so.
