I totally agree. I love our friday casuals and tourneys, but I think we as a community should focus on leveling everyone up. Not that it doesn’t already happen, but I’m talking about in-depth strategy discussions, problem areas for individual players and match-up issues for certain characters. I know it would help my scrubby ass out!! haha

I felt very welcome when I entered the community. Sure, Eric, Slash and co. were cliqueish, but they were all still friendly. Maybe these people talking shit just aren’t cool and that’s why they were treated poorly. Why is Pat fighting for them anyway? Since when does Pat stand up for anybody that isn’t Pat?

I didn’t expect all this crap to be here when I came back.
It was actualy told to me by different newcomers a few times its not something made up! Eric your name came up every time. Im not trying to single you or anyone out, its just that it did need to be heard by all you guys because it is an issue that can be fixed so just keep it in mind. And sure we all talk shit to eachother, but thats not the issue, its when people bitch and moan because they lost and act like the other person didnt deserve the win. Nobody has to be fuckbuddys with the new kids but at least introduce yourself to all of them so they dont feel unwelcome from the get go. Its my fault for not bringing it up sooner but it at least it was brought up finally.

I find it funny that my name is repeatedly mentioned and yet all these supposed newcomers remain nameless. So you might understand why it kinda smells a bit like bullshit. If someone has a problem then man up and say so; don’t save it for Internet drama, or whisper it behind my back.
That being said, I will put forward a genuine effort to be more thoughtful when dealing with new people. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
