@ Tempered: I just don’t prefer F moons right now. I like reverse beats and shit from other styles. Yea I pretty much use C-Kouma as a mild grappler/rushdown character. Use command grab for oki situations or combo in corner. F+c is slow but decent overhead I use to mixup-> combo. Punish with rekkas->air combo. Then mindgames with the teleports, etc. Haha, but he’s not who I plan on maining. That’d be C-Hisui at the moment I think, but I’ve also taking an extreme infatuation to H-Aoko. She’s fun. I gotta learn on how to utilize her properly but I actually think she’s less maintenance than C and F versions. Haven’t played all week. Gotta get back on it. I’m so busy right now, sigh.
Shoutouts to Warpticon, Kage, and others at ARK II. Casuals were mad fun and hype. Thanks for the games and Ryougi and V Akiha exp. I actually picked up H-Aoko the night before so I was relying on like 2 combos, 1 set-up, and Marvel beam super to pull me through. I definitely gotta work on defense and general hang of parrying, subsystems, all that. I’m pretty sure we all hated Lil Mel’s White Len with the And 1 Mixtape orb dribbling combos and ice palace set-ups but it’s def gonna teach cats how to block lol. Kage, the V Akiha stick was god-tier. Shit…
French Bread mentioned recently on their blog (translation from MeltyBread):
“Technically, we could do a PC/PS3 version, but the political hurdle (?) is high. At the very least, we’d need some way to introduce netplay. We plan on talking it out with [TYPE-MOON and ‘those guys’] in the future”.
This saturday (and probably every saturday) AZ will be streaming casuals. 9pm est, 8pm cst, 6pm mtn/pst. Features decent level play. Most players placed above 16th at evo. We have some new blood, including the occasional Juicebox sighting.
First of all, he thanks all the players, fans and Tougeki organizers for allowing MB to be present at Tougeki this year, and that he would like to see the game be featured in the tourney again next year. He also thanks people for coming to see them at AOU.
He then goes into explain the old blog post about the challenge of porting the game to PC/PS3:

[]‘PC and PS3’ were simply mentioned because that’s what people requested the most through tweets. They are thinking about the Xbox 360 as well.
[]‘Political hurdles’ previously mentioned include factors such as

[]Cost evaluation, which at this point it seems impractical for them to try to make a game for the current-gen consoles.
[]Licensing by TYPE-MOON.
[]Technical challenges for them in making a port for the current-gen consoles.
[]The difficulty of ‘sprite graphics behind its time’ (he said that in his own words) to gain approval from SCE.

[*]As of now, there is no plan to port the game to the PS3, and it will likely be out of question for a while.

However, he also notes that something is currently being planned for the RING (arcade) version of MBAACC.
Apparently French Bread has not seen the doujin games approved by SCEA for PSN (Acceleration of Suguri, Gundemoninum, Bunny Must Die). If you think SCE(I/A) approval process is a pain in the ass, Microsoft’s is worse. Short of having Microsoft Japan lean on the home office for approval (like they did for Guwange and the SNK fighters), the game would never get approved purely due to its resolution. Even all of the independent games on XBLA are in HD!
Of course, that would require Ecole/French Bread/Type-Moon/whoever else to be forward thinking enough and to a digital download release while their direct competitors get a retail release.
